just like Floyd had no possible chance against Oscar? Fights are won and lost in the ring and nobody has beaten Hatton.

    disagREED Slightly...

REED thinks Sugar Shane or Paul Williams have a Better Chance of BEATING Floyd (therefore Making Those Particular Matchups "Better"),but No Doubt, Hatton is a "Bigger" Fight...& it's NOT a Mismatch by Any Stretch of the Imagination...

REED Doesn't See How ANYBODY Could Criticize Floyd OR Hatton for Making this Fight Happen...Some "Boxing Fans" SPECIALIZE N NEVER Being Satisfied...

That's what you and the rest of your ilk keep saying,..Margarito is irrelevant, he's insignificant,.....but yet he ALWAYS find his way into these threads,...:nono: and I didn't bring him up,..it's always a niggling Fraud-groupie who does,.. you all know who Margarito is,..and you've all been infected deeply by what took place in mid-2006,..simple.

WHO? you say,...you know that fighter you recently dedicated a 20 page thread to?....you know that fighter who occupies a bandwagon in your signature?...

    Reed please...

of course they are tougher fights, which is why Floyd will never fight them or Paul Williams.

I applaude Hatton on this fight. Big money, he's not expected to win, if he loses no harm to him at all at 140. He just says he knew he shouldn't be fighting at 147 after the Collazo fight, but he's just always looking for a challenge. IF he wins though, he's a world superstar.(but he won't win)

Also, as fast as Floyd is, Cotto is very good at timing his opponent punches and punching with them. Floyd now throws one punch at the time, Cotto punches in combination, so even if he lands one, he might get caught with a few hard punches after, a bit like Judah experienced, which totally shut him down. I think Cotto is a bigger challenge for Floyd too but Hatton is a bigger fight and a compelling matchup too. I can't bitch about this fight.

Call it an "Excuse" if U Like, but REED has Noticed that WHENEVER Floyd wears the Brand of Gloves Called "WINNING",he Fights MORE OFFENSIVELY...

Starting w/the N'Dou Fight,Floyd had a Consecutive STRING of Entertaining Bouts & he Wore Winning Gloves N All of them,if REED's Not Mistaken...

THEN,he Fights Baldomir,DOESN'T Wear Winning Gloves & it's BACK to the Hit & Run,LESS than Exciting Floyd...Ditto for the DeLa Fight...

Manny Steward 1nce Referred to Winning Gloves as "Pillows" & Floyd has EXTREMELY BRITTLE,SMALL Hands...

I know what you are saying REED. And don't get me wrong, its a huge fight and I will be watching like any boxing fan would. My problem with Floyd is he knows Mosely is the biggest challenge for him right now and he avoids him like the plague. Its obvious he is trying to let the age factor play against Shane. At every weight since he left 135 he has picked and chose the fights with the lowest risk/high reward. Its about time he stepped up and just fought the best. I'm gonna jump on this fights bandwagon, I want to see it. But as soon as its over you will here me calling for Williams/Cotto/Mosely.

Well, you will verify that my lack of love for Floyd is well-documented. With that said, if Floyd agrees to fight Hatton, it will take a huge bullet our of the Floyd hater's gun.

And when I say Floyd-Ricky is the best possible fight, I simply mean the BIGGEST attraction and best match-up. Personally I think Cotto, Williams, Mosley and Margarito are all tougher fights for Floyd..

 This is what I mean, the sort've stuff contained in that extensive Margarito hate thread,.."Hey Reed you've got 2 arms"... "No I don't"..

Personally I think Williams has the best chance against Mayweather (I've always felt he beats PBF and his last fight made me feel even more strongly about it) and then Cotto.

He probably is hoping Shane gets older, but I wouldn't call it "avoiding someone like the plague" if Floyd chooses to fight Hatton instead of him. It's just one fight, fights don't always materialize right away. If there was a whole pattern of it happening then it's different.

    Yep...

Let's NOT Forget,Baldomir was Floyd's BACK-UP Plan to Finish Off 2006...Floyd WANTED to Fight Sugar Shane Initially, but Shane had a Toothache or Some Shit...

Wouldn't have a prayer? According to who...you?

Who did you pick in the Hatton-Castillo fight?
Who did you pick in the Oscar-Floyd fight?

Since when are YOU and authority on who would win what?

Talk about who you want PBF to fight, but leave the picking of fights to me, my son.

That describes about 95% of the posters here, including yourself. That doesn't make you NOT a boxing fan.

In Double's defense, he's one of the biggest boxing fans on this board.

It's disgusting that anyone would complain about Mayweather/Hatton. Would have been better in 2005 though, IMO.

:dunno: I just want to know why Fraud fights like he's got something to hide?...He fights like a man with a very shakey chin,..yet I've seen no real evidence of this?.. his tentativeness, is revealing that he's affected by inner demons, and that "insignificant fighter" you groupies love to chastize so much, can raise up those budding demons like no other, Margarito's ritualistic moves can stimulate the wasp larvae, and have them nipping the organic meat inside Fraud's skull, exhausting his mind, heart and body. :nono: There's a truth to it.

Well he's always changed his style according to the opponent and situation, he's been more conservative in some fights and traded more in others, but as I said earlier, the way he's fought in the last couple fights is a cause for concern.

Maybe the more he listens to his dad and uncle speak, the more he worries about getting hit in the head. :dunno:

I think Castillo stuck his dick into Fraud's ear to be honest, and put alot of those seeds inside his mind,.. Fraud was never as 'conservative' at picking opponents before moving up in weight and running into a brickwall that was Castillo,..it's been strictly 'pick a path' ever since,..very, very oppurtunistic,.. and a solid argument could be made that he's only really ever fought one fighter noticeably larger than himself, his welterweight opposition consisted of Sharmba (tiny)..Zab (tiny)...Baldomir (Lightweight with a heavyweight's head).

This is a great fight for boxing. Here's why...

    - Two undefeated fighters fighting for for the mythical title of
    P4P king.
    - USA vs England.
    - Boxer vs Bodypunching machine.
    - Arrogant primadonna vs everyday joe
    - Both in their primes

This will be a great fight cause Ricky always comes to rumble and he will not stop punching. I repeat, this will be a great fight!
