He's like half an inch taller than Floyd, and has no power. He can't punch at all. Couldn't put a dent in Alexander or Algiers, and couldn't even come close to stopping Julio Diaz at 140. He has the speed to sting guys, but no real power behind his shots. Floyd hits harder. So that leaves handspeed and youth, that's nowhere near enough to beat Floyd. Ortiz had handspeed and youth.
Well, technically yeah, but I see at as a gimme. I don't think Khan has a realistic chance of winning. But it would be a fairly big, hyped fight, and make Floyd lots of money, so he should probably do it. Khan is a bigger name than Berto, and it would be a bigger fight.
Those "gimme" fights are the ones you have to worry about. Buster Douglas was a gimme, Leon Spinks was a gimme. Gimme's terrify me.
Is just a rumor and Showtime is not commenting on it. http://www.examiner.com/article/sho...rumored-floyd-mayweather-vs-andre-berto-fight
Oliver McCall was a gimmie. Frankie 'The Surgeon' Randall was a gimmie. Ross Puritty and Corrie Sanders were gimmies. Maidana was a gimmie. and the list goes on...
His style plays into Floyd's hands though, more easily than Khan's, plus he has less power than Khan and quite frankly is not as fast as Khan.
He hits harder than Khan at 147, without a doubt. He has decent pop, that's basically all he does have, some power and handspeed. People need to stop this nonsense of classifying Khan as a puncher. He never has been, and especially isn't one now at 147.
Where has Khan shown any power at all at 147? Khan's power is a downright myth. Berto has respectable power, he's hurt guys and actually scored 1 punch KO's at 147. He clearly hits harder than Khan.
Wow, people are really under rating Berto here! BERTO is NO JOKE!!!!!!1 didn't you guys seem him hitting the heavy bag in interviews before Floyd-pac? He was KILLING IT Berto is bigger, stronger, faster, younger, and hungrier at this point than Floyd. I hope if this happens Floyd doesn't get hurt bad
Berto ' s defense is nearly nonexistent. This is going to be a one-sided beat down. Not entertaining either. At least it's free. I hope pbf stays retired.
So you must have been absolutely outraged when a guy who lost to Khan got TWO fights with Floyd then. No? More inconsistency.
Yes, but it's well known that your mother was a crack whore. There's no way that wouldn't have affected your brain development in utero. As such your opinions here must be taken with a grain of salt.
Khan has to be crying right now because the British media is gonna hound him about Kell Brook now until he mans up and faces him.
Khan has fought Maidana, Garcia, Malignaggi, Judah, Peterson, Alexander, Kotelnik, Algieri and Collazo. (I didn't mention ex champs Barrera and Diaz because they were past it.) Brook has fought Porter.
Khan hasn't fought anybody good since 2012. And at 147, he's done fuck all. Brook if nothing else, has a belt and Khan is the one talking as if HE has the belt and is undefeated.
Khan-Brook would Be a BIG Fight on the Other Side of the Pond Though & Khan HASN'T Had 1 of those in Awhile... REED:mj:
