Now that theater shit is a good IDEA.......and a good excuse for Mayweather if UFC do better numbers on PPV than his fight...

UFC 103 is a pretty weak card compared to the average UFC. I don't see it pulling too many 'boxing first/UFC second' fans away from the Floyd PPV. I'm sure it'll still probably pull in at least 250,000 PPV buys from the UFC fans that buy every UFC PPV, and maybe a nice chunk of UFC fans who don't care about boxing, but I don't think a Franklin\Vitor matchup is a big enough attraction to the hardcore boxing fan who also happens to enjoy UFC.

I highly doubt Floyd's PPV will come close to the numbers he did against Oscar and Hatton, but he should outsell UFC 103.

But if he doesn't.......that is not a good thing for Mayweather.

They're going to start running 30 second spots. That could be a good idea to at least raise some the awareness of the fight (didn't see what the price tag on that is, though).

That's one thing I've noticed that as television ads have become more and more targeted, and regional, some areas don't get that many tv spots advertising upcoming ppv's.

Boxing's been lacking mainstream attention, this is at least is an attempt to generate some of it.
