Says much of your wildly successful business where you make "four times as much as me," I guess. The thread was specifically about incomes and income levels. I didn't bring it up randomly in a completely unrelated thread. I would guess that most people in that thread who are married with kids and live in urban areas have larger incomes than myself, by virtue of being dual income families.

Also, I said everyone I know makes 100-150k, not 150k. I just moved here 1.5 years ago. Everyone I know here is either from my ethnic community (and thus a doctor, engineer, or investment banker) or is someone I know from work/a client in the same industry. Thus their salaries are all in the same ballpark.

I'm aware it's above the average wage for one single person nationwide, but once again, for a family of four it isn't really that much. The two counties everyone here lives in are the #1-#3 highest median household income counties in the US.

Pretty much everyone who isn't a low income 1st generation immigrant in the county I live in makes at LEAST 100-150k, as I pointed out from my previous post showing the median income where I live.

Nobody I know who is close to me is really wealthy (I have neighbors who might be considered that, but they aren't especially close to me), they would be close if they had two incomes but most of them choose not to because they have young kids.

I stated a ballpark figure of what I and most people I know make (you still don't know how much that is, in spite of your ironic boasting about how you make more while telling me I'm boasting about how much I make) in a thread that was specifically about that exact topic. I did not do it in a boastful manner, I did it to point out that that income level doesn't make one rich. I have twin 2 year old boys, a house, a car, and my wife's car. If you didn't have a weak and useless penis and a nonexistent sperm count, you might someday be able to understand where I'm coming from when I say that a 150k income doesn't make you close to rich in those circumstances. We're not starving by any means, we live a very comfortable life, but we aren't rich.

I agree that there is a certain base appeal to having the winner of a fight get a bonus, but it's really a bitch clause that has no place in a fair contract. Fighters make contracts based upon what they bring to the table and they have every incentive to win, regardless of a bonus.

Fighters do not have control over judges and there is no reason they should put a portion of their purse at risk to them. 'Bad' judging isn't something that happens infrequently, it's something that happens often. Hell, if you listen to Teddy Atlas and Bob Papa get on their high horses, it happens twice a telecast.
