his last fight was at 154lbs. he'll fight alvarez unless one or both of them lose first.

I think this would be surprisingly competitive, unless there's soft canvas in the ring

Agreed. Floyd didn't exactly set the world on fire against Cotto. Canelo is a younger stronger Cotto.

Agreed. Bar a broke comeback, I don't see Floyd even fighting 6 more times.

I did read somewhere it said Floyd will fight a maximum of 6 times, I wonder what the truth is regarding the contract.

As everybody has said he won't fight 6 times but if he did this would indeed be the schedule.

If he fights only 3 times unfortunately half of these compelling matchups won't happen.

Mayweather is way far from that kind of shape and I think Guerrero is tougher than both of them, I think it will go 12.

Guererro will make it the distance, he may even win some rounds. Cotto did and he's pretty much shot.

It's quite possible Floyd stops him. Guerrero looked more solid in the Berto fight than Aydin fight, but he is clearly not a welterweight, he's also not hard to hit at all.

But yeah, I think he'll probably last the distance and win one or two rounds.

i could see mayweather jr facing alvarez in september and then khan in england early next year. that would take care of half the contract by this time next year

Why are the details of the deal so secretive? It sounds like it's contracted in that Floyd can't run his mouth about how much money he's going to make.

this. obviously Gatti & Ndou aren't exactly worldbeaters but Mayweather Jr is clearly no longer the same guy nevertheless

Any contract of any kind that prevents Mayweather from opening his mouth about any subject is good in my book.

Mayweather is probably the one who doesn't want people to know the details. He likes people to think he makes more than he really does.

He throws money whenever he sees a camera.

Doesn't make a lot of sense to think '$$Money$$' Mayweather doesn't want the world to know he got the best contract in the history of boxing.

You don't know what shot is if you think Cotto is shot.

Did Floyd ruin him for Trout? Trout sure had an easier time than Floyd did. Cotto has taken multiple brutal beatings, he's not the same fighter he used to be.
