BTW! I'm so fucking happy this fight is all but a done deal! Biggest fight since... I don't know really... This fight might be the biggest selling PPV ever! Great stuff!

The undercard MUST be stacked. If there's an opportunity to sell boxing to the mainstream public it is this fight.

Yep, but I'm not very hopeful about it. HBO's budget for the fight will probably split something like this:

    Total budget: 110, 000, 000.
    Floyd-Pac: 108, 000, 000.
    Promotion: 1, 000, 000.
    Undercard: 1, 000, 000.

I wonder if there is a correlation between being breastfed til you're in high school and uncontrollable crying after physical exertion?

That's ANCIENT history. I, too, was blinded by BIAS. I could see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. It's gonna be a bright bright March 13th day.

Do you recall ANYONE in this thread diminishing Mayweather's wins over DLH and Hatton before you started whining about it?

So everybody is officially off of the Floyd should fight Steriod Shane bandwagon. No doubt if Floyd blasts Manny, Floyd ducked Shane to fight Manny.

He can't fight them both? After Mosley beats Berto he will own 2 belts. It seems perfectly logical that the winners of those fight face eachother. Then there is a unified champion.

What about celebratory quitting, do you think it's also a bi-product?

If Pacquiao wins i think he'll strongly consider retirement. I would certainly hope not but i could understand it.

I think we're missing the most important thing here and it's not Mayweather, it's not Pacquiao, it's not the fight in itself, what it means, all time status, styles... We need to be talking about what matters and that is that...

Being that it's such a huge event and one that will be watched by many mainstream fans, I hope the fight is entertaining.

Mayweather-DLH didn't exactly make the sport look good.

This fight wont be any different in my opinion. PBF will not take many risks. He will fight a very smart fight.

What's the point of being a unified champion?
Kostya Tszyu was one and he was a bum.

Floyd is Significantly TALLER than Pacquiao (A GOOD 3 Inches)...These Days, REED ISN'T Sooo Sure How much BIGGER he Is Though...SOME, but NOT "Significantly"...Even in the Cotto Fight, Pac had the BIGGER LEGS...

Did U MISS the "A GOOD 3 Inches" Portion????...U're Trying Toooooo Hard, Homegirl...

Who cares? You know what you meant, you can typically skirt the issue, though.

Paul Williams is bigger than Tua.

No Mayweather fight does. And it's not his defensiveness or lack of aggression either - I could watch Pernel Whitaker or Nicolinno Loche all day & night - it's the perpetual head locks, back turning, dipping down towards his opponents crotch and elbows, all of which should get him point lopped off but don't.

Not sure. Floyd usually gains 2 or 3 pounds after the weigh in fighting at 147 and Pac fights at 150. Floyd weighed in at 150 against Oscar.

Come on, are you seriously trying to say they are the same size?

Toney has weighed in as heavy as Wlad, is he the same size as Wlad?
Floyd has a bigger frame, like a couple of divisions bigger at least. Pacquiao has a featherweight frame, and Floyd has a junior welterweight frame.

It's true Floyd doesn't gain much overnight, who knows why that is, but it's rare.

Then you meant that you don't know how much bigger one is than the other. Would you like to clarify?
