Yep, and speaking of weight only, last year Pacquiao could make 130 pounds, Mayweather has been a welterweight for years.

Floyd is the bigger man, it's not even arguable :kidcool:

It's like saying Duran is as big as Iran Barkley, because they both weighed 160 something pounds.

Yet on fightnight they only weigh a few pounds apart at most. In Pac's last fight at 130 he weighed in at 146 on fightnight, Floyd fought welterweights weighing 146 on fightnight.

I gotta love this site, First of all Floyd is scared of Shane and ducking him, to then being scared of Manny to then being too big for him in a few days.

And yet why was Manny able to make 130, but Floyd not?

Some fighters simply eat more than others/fill up with creative more than others. Maybe Floyd purposefully doesn't pump himself up overnight, so as not to feel bloated, and to be as mobile as possible.

Gatti regularly weighed in more than Floyd on fight night, yet when they fought, Floyd was the bigger man.

It's about frame and height as much as weight.

If Floyd and Tall Paul weighed in the same on fight night, would you also deny that Paul was the bigger man? Would you say Floyd is as big as him?

No the difference is they'll both be ripped fight night. Duran was a fatass in his fight against Iran.

    Same concept though.

If Floyd weighed in the same as Paul Williams, would you say Floyd was as big as Paul?

And Duran lost that fight by a lot. It was an awful decision against Barkley.

It's because he doesn't cut to make weight. As far as I know, he usually shows up at training camp close to fighting weight.

When you drain your body at the last minute to make weight, it's very likely you'll put a bunch of that weight back on in the day between the weigh-in and the fight.

IF he doesn't put on weight, why did he come in 2 pounds over versus Marquez and then refuse a day of fight weigh in?

Floyd's (I want) Muscles at it again.

Nah it was a good decision. In fact the judges had it too close. I scored it 10-2 to Duran, plus the knockdown, and those 2 round were being generous to Barkley.

No offense, Mex but you need to get glasses. Barkley was robbed. In fact, I can't see how any reasonable person could have Duran even getting a draw. Gil Glancy laughed when the read the decision. I kno it is your opinion, but it is wrong. I expect more out of you.

    He's SERIOUS...

Back During a Conference Call, MONTHS PRIOR to the Marquez Fight, when Asked DIRECTLY about a Catchweight, Floyd Said, "It's a Welterweight Fight & I'll B Weighing 147"...Everybody's Acting SURPRISED that Floyd DIDN'T Comply w/Marquez's Demands, but Floyd Said MONTHS PRIOR to the Fight that he'd Weigh 147...

Dude, Floyd (or any sane human being) would NEVER have paid that amount of money if he didnt have to. He was contractually obligated to fight Marquez at a catch-weight. He did not follow through with that obligation and paid the price.:nono:

PBF is naturally bigger than Pacman.
It really shouldn't be a point of conjecture.

    Exactly right.

And because he doesn't have to worry about making weight during camp, he keeps getting craftier and more skilled all around.

Floyd has heavier bones than Pacman. longer arms, a more pronounced jaw, he is wider at the shoulders.

I mean, there are 26" bicycles and there are 26" bicycles.

When Gatti fought Gamache, you could see an immediately noticeable power and size difference.

Mayweathers last two fights have revealed that same look...where he is clearly the bigger, more powerful man in there. Marquez, Hatton were both noticeably shorter in both terms of reach and height.

Floyd is right to stick to his guns on 147. It is WW and that means he has the right to realise the divisional limit. If Pac choses to come in lower then so be it, thats his business.

Absolutely. If Mayweather decided the proposed date didn't work because it interfered with his plans to run for the position of Mayor of Douchetown, he would be crucified on this forum.

    The Question was Posed...

"Floyd, Rumor has it that U'll B Fighting Marquez @ a Catchweight. Is this True & If So, WHAT will the Catchweight B"...

    Floyd's RESPONSE was...

    "I'm Not Fighting Marquez @ a Catchweight...He Called me Out @ Welterweight, so it'll B a Welterweight Fight w/a Limit of 147 lbs"....

AGAIN, Floyd Said this SEVERAL Months PRIOR to the Marquez Bout...
