Just read in Fightnews that Pacquaio is requesting $10 million PER POUND for a weight over 147lbs for EITHER fighter. The clause in the contract applies to BOTH him and Floyd.Very REASONABLE...

 

With Floyd's history of disregarding clauses in the contract, good idea.:nono:

 

When has Floyd ever weight in over 147? It was only against DLH, he weight in 149 for a Jr. Middleweight fight. The request sounds kind of stupid.

 

I think the point is that he disregarded the weight clause against Marquez. Most of it is just drama, but it's clever.

 

I think after what Floyd did in the Marquez fight, the Pacquaio team just wants to keep him HONEST and stop him from coming in heavier.Something Floyd I don't think will WANT to do anyway if he will want to BOX Manny at least early in the fight and use his SPEED as much as possible without getting into exchanges.So the Pacquaio camp PREFERS Mayweather boxes as usual and not come inside with a heavier frame.

 

Wow. Me and Floyd vs the rest of the world...as it appears that only me and him believe that a welter fight involves a limit of 147. Well aint that sweet.
