Hey Mitchell, whenever you want to stop trolling when it comes to me, that would be nice. I am not sure what you get out of being dick, but you really need to grow up.

Well, he did manage to seriously test Shane Mosely at 154 less than 4 months before Shane beat Margarito to become the 'best welterweight in the world'.

But seriously, the dude did beat Vernon Forest twice, which always impressed me to be honest. Vernon was no joke regardless of weight excuses and the BS.

You give mayorga credit for Shane? He got KNocked out. And it was embarassing. That being said, i give more shit to Shane for not preparing than credit to mayorga for anything. As for Forrest, i already stated my opinion on this many times on here. I felt forrest fucked himself over in that fight. He decided to trade with Mayorga. But i give mayorga credit for that. The second fight, i thought Mayorga lost.

IMO the ONLY thing Mayorga did worth a damn was beat Forrest. Good. After that he got ran out of 147 by spinks and has gone downhill since.

... and then the week of the fight, he was threatening to pull out unless King doubled his payday.

And on a separate note... I find it hysterical that this thread has once again become the same Mayorga argument that was already discussed a week or two ago. How many times can the same points/opinions be debated?

YOu think Vitali would have beaten Lewis if it wasn't for those cuts...

Are you seriously telling me you think Tito has trouble with Ricardo Mayorga? Both in their primes? You're talking about a guy that is so stupid that he offers his chin to opponents. Tito flattens him at any weight, no doubt at all.

    Exactly...

Mayorga making that move against the best of Tito we've seen fares as well as Edison Miranda when he did the same to Lucien Bute. A few seconds later he went to sleep.

Their fight was even after 6 rounds on one of the cards at a weight that greatly favoured Tito. I dunno that it'd be such a mismatch at welterweight, tbh.

Yeh because Tito's power degenerated massively between 98 and 02, right? :scratcher: Despite gaining 13lb of weigh in weight.

Tito beats Mayorga at any weight. It's probably MORE competitive at 147 than it was at 160 though.

Not sure what that has to do with this thread or my earlier comment.

Anyway, this card is now less than one month away - and it still doesn't interest me. I guess I should thank Arum for loading it up with such a shitty under card.

I find it funny that there was so much emphasis placed on getting CBS pre-fight coverage for Pac-Mosley, yet nothing at all for Cotto, whose being snubbed by HBO was Arum's main motivation for taking both fights across the street

That's just my point. Everyone expects a blowout. I do believe Tito knocks Mayorga out but there could be a few scary moments before it happens.

I'm thinking this fight is a test run on the production side more than anything.

Oh I'm sure of it. In fact, I firmly believe that Arum already knew he was taking Pac-Mosley to Showtime when this fight was negotiated.

Ah yes, the ol "you're a dick, grow up" response...because nothing says maturity like calling someone a dick.

And trolling would be me posting in the MMA forum...kinda like you posting in General Discussion.

Yeah, I can't believe they're putting Christy Martin on the card...but there she is, with Gloria Allred, no less.

    And Foreman-Wolak is clearly filler.

You got any expectations for Vazquez-Zappavigna?

Vazquez is tough but not particularly exciting. Lenny Z is fun to watch (I guess) but not particularly... good. So no, not expecting much there. Either an early knockout for Lenny Z or a Vazquez decision, neither scenario enough to steal $50 outta my pocket

LOL...yeah, Vazquez can be hard to watch.

But you could do it for Christy...she probably needs the money.

Its funny, I have been posting on these forums for about ten years now with about the same people. I have been here longer than you and have contributed much more than you. What makes this forum different than other forums like Maxboxing and Boxingfanatics, is that when there is an argument/debate, its over. We dont hold grudges like little bitches here. But for some reason you still have issues. You and others had issues with me posting MMA in this forum. I took those issues seriously and out of respect have not posted anything about MMA and even began increasing my posts on boxing. But that isnt good enough for you. You still seem upset about that initial argument between us. You are acting like the very bitch these forums hate. I have let your comments go in the past and continued to show you respect, but seriously, its enough already. Move the fuck on. Our MMA debate was almost a year ago.

Agreed. People are forgetting that Tito got dropped by the likes of Yory Boy Campas and Oba Carr (though Carr was actually pretty decent).

Judging from your response(s) you've got more of an issue than I do.

You're the one still going on about it...and calling people dicks and bitches as you do it...displaying your full grown maturity while you're at it.

Its not the first time you are attacking me. You have, on more than one occassion, made your hit and run remarks following my posts. I usually just ignore you and move on, but now im confronting you and asking whats your beef? You had issues with the MMA shit, and out of respect for this forum and it's members, i havent brought it up since. What is your continued beef? It must be something, because the only posts from you in this thread is attacking me for some reason.

Yeah, and Arturo Gatti would've beaten Floyd Mayweather Jr if it weren't for all the punches Floyd threw.

Every Mayorga post you make reads the same way.

If you want to "confront" someone in General Discussion try doing it with something that's boxing-related and the slightest bit worth reading.
