you have a strange fascination with Margarito. It's like you're the bizzaro Attraction, instead of blindly following a fighter, you blindly hate him, and bring him up in every post.

here's a question: Why the FK doesn't COTTO fight Williams? Can we all agree it's because of the very real possibility (dare I say probability) that he'd lose to him?

Williams has a fight lined up with a guy Cotto KOed. For fucks sake, its like Williams can do no wrong, cannot be beaten and created sliced bread.

He narrowly beat Margarito and thats it. He's BEHIND Cotto.

You must not read many of my posts, cause I damn near dont bring up Phony's name unless a thread is about, or related to him. Its no secret I dont care for him, but to say I blindly hate on him is a joke.

i'd like to see Gomez in with someone around the lower middle/bottom of that Welterweight top 10 to see how he'd fair.....at the moment he hasn't done enough to warrant a shot at Cotto....and after beating Mosley, Gomez would be viewed as a soft touch....they've got to build on that momentum

When i first saw Gomez in the contender, his style did remind me of Cotto....the high guard, steady aggression and the way he puts his punches together

Cintron's a helluva lot better than Gomez, that's for sure. At least he's fighting a top 10 guy. Oh well. Just wondering why Cotto's not fighting Williams. I guess I'll have to keep wondering.

I agree that Cotto deserves a "soft touch", but Gomez? This is a guy that was supposed to be fighting a prospect next.

Yeah, I think even Ottkay Urkel is a step above Gomez. This is on par with the Guilani Branco fight.

Yeah hes better but we all know Cotto beats the shit out of both. Obviously Cintron has more name and a title so he would be a bigger win. Getting Cintron in the ring would be the difficulty. Amagine how bad his hand would be if he was told he was fighting Cotto.

Gomez is just a name to help showcase the Cotto-Margarito fight.

you'll have to ask Tam Tam that question - he's the one who brought him up. apparently, since Williams is slated to fight Cintron, it's taboo to ask the question, "why doesn't Cotto fight Williams?" I "think" that's what he's trying to say, although I can certainly understand your confusion as to the relevance.

Cotto has no bussiness in the ring with guys who can't even beat Feliciano. This is a BAD fight. Complete and utter crap.

i don't expect for a minute that Cotto/Williams will get made any time soon. Williams has one big win on his resume, and Cotto's an over-rated super-star. Why would he risk his HBO-hype credibility fighting a guy as durable and as big as Williams? But I don't think it's a crime to ask the question. Do you? I mean we all know that Cotto/Williams is "the" fight at 147 now that PBF has officially ducked all top welter-weights. Is there any denying that?

I think the argument could be made that Margarito and Williams are the two best welter-weights in the world. Let's see Cotto prove me wrong by fighting one of them. That's what I want to see (now that PBF has officially ducked all real challenges at 147).

Both Cotto and Mayweather had great years, but for you to say Floyd isn't number one at 147 is:notallthere:

    Mayweather's resume :shit: on Cotto's.

you act like he stopped Shane in the 1st round. That fight definitely could have gone to Shane. Cotto was running ala Tito in the last few rounds!
