    I could see that, but I could also see him not being.

    Very different fighters, but for my money Monzon is at least as good as Hagler, and Hagler Vs Hearns was ultimately a pretty 1 sided fight, more than its legendary status would indicate. Monzon would be arguably the best MW Hearns ever faced, so I'm not certain Hearns would even be ahead on the cards.

    I think Carlos' length, patience, power, toughness, strength would trouble Hearns. I don't think it's just a case of Monzon outlasting him.

    There's a reason why Monzon was undefeated in 13 years, and never close to being stopped - he was ridiculously good, and hard to beat.

    I just think Thomas Hearns is the most unique fighter in history and there would never be a fighter who would come close to dominating him
