Benavidez actually surprised me with his defense. A much better defensive skill than given credit. Morrell wasn’t able to consistently hit him as often as he expected.

That's actually quite better numbers than I expected. I remember the days when 300k was considered a success for proven stars like Morales and Barrera fighting each other's but have 0 idea of what the target was for this fight. But considering they were probably paid a couple of millions each minimum, my guess is that it bled money unfortunately

 

Btw, just caught the highlights of Fierro and Cruz and it looked like FNF level at best. Not sure if Cruz is washed up or if he took Fierro lightly buy boy did he looked slow and ponderous vs what is basically a journeyman
