He cried after being Gatti. Arturo F*cking Gatti of all people!!!! No wonder Fraud ducks every legit challenger and handpicks his opposition. He's got no confidence in his ability. He knows he could get exposed so he calculates exactly who to fight and when like a typical ducking little bitch!

Just watching recent clips of SSM, I really think that he's gonna fall into the same trap most guys do.
On the outside PBF will get off first with pot-shots.
When SSM comes in, he'll catch him with lead RH's & short LH's
When Shane gets him in close he's gonna be all over PBF, hugging & crowding him & getting caught with little inside counters & forearms to the throat, while his shots go sailing over PBF's back, and the body attack will end up being more of an "arm attack"

Probably, and i can see Shane getting frustrated and throwing really hard power shots but missing wide.

Still though i'd pay good money just to see Shane land the same left on Floyd that he iced Mayorga with.

Have I made an official pick yet? I forget. I think it's going to be close. Floyd wins enough mid-rounds to overcome a good start and a high energy finish from Mosley. Mayweather decision.

I think at one point I predicted a dull PBF decision win. I still believe that is likely. But since I am rooting for Shane, I will go with my heart on this one. I am dumping all previous predictions like refuse and going with Shane by super late rounds KO. Maybe the 12th.

Floyd will outbox Shane in general, and land respectable potshots along the way. But Shane will inch by inch come closer to connecting with some powerful counters, or maybe some lead shots if he gets Floyd on the ropes here and there. At first Shane will land virtually nothing, but as the fight wears on his speed will help him find openings.

Once Floyd is stunned, having never really been hit that hard before in his whole career, Shane (who is a great finisher) will KO Floyd, shocking the boxing world!

    Floyd really should win.

Shane is 38, 39, whatever. Is coming off a 15 month layoff.

The thing is Mosley is vastly experienced. The question is whether he has faith in his own self.

I categorically believe that ANYONE who catches Floyd cleanly can hurt him and back him up.

Hatton did it, Corley did it, Judah outright dropped him and won the first 4 rounds.

Mosley needs to listen to Nazim Richardson and remain cool.

Judah always had a better chance of stopping Floyd than Shane does. Judah throws very hard unpredictable straight lefts from a southpaw stance. I was al ittle worried for Floyd going into the Judah fight actually.

There's a reason why Judah was able to stop Cory Spinks when neither the bigger Mayorga or Jermaine taylor could even get close.

Shane's punches are telegraphed, regardless of his handspeed. Shane's power punches are haymakers. Only a body shot from Shane could stop Floyd, nothing else.

Mayweather by decision. Mosley is almost 40 and has been inactive on top of that. Not a good combination.

Mosley does ok early on, but Mayweather eventually takes control and wins a clear decision.

I would love to see Mosley pull a Hearns vs. Leonard II and spare us from any more of Mayweather's flapping gums, but this fight is taking place too far in the twilight of Mosley's career for that.

    +1 Well called.

Shane, as I suspected, was just too jaded to pull the trigger.

I love going back and revisiting the prediction thread after the fight. I gotta admit some of you guys were pretty close and some of you guys were way the fuck off. I'm gonna take some credit for my prediction and kinda pat myself on my back. Now I didn't predict the outcome however I did predict that we could possibly see a Jones/Tarver 2 type ko for Shane. And guess what we damn sure almost got that exact result. But fuck PBF's chin proved to be better then Roy's. Damn I was close. Anyways there are some cats that need to man up and say that PBF proved them all wrong. I'll Holla 5000

Check out the names who voted for Floyd. 3/4 of them are either Floyd haters or long time Mosley fans.

Very few people here or from the experts polled actually figured Shane could pull it off.

This is true. However some cats assumed that PBf would not engage Shane. Would fight not to lose and if he got hit wit something from a real welterweight he would bitchout. I just find that funny. Especially since he fought the exact opposite of what many expected. That's all. I'll Holla 5000

richardsons pick seemed spot on. except the part about mosley stepping on his tail and punching him in the stomach after mayweather jr turned into a dragon once he was hit.

Since you seem think your prediction was "almost" correct  and that you were "close", do you also think that Floyd was almost KOed or was close to being KOed? Or are you pulling a Sly and trying to give yourself extra credit for an incorrect prediction?

It never seemed to me like Mayweather was in danger (or almost or was close to) of being KOed. He was definitely hurt, but he had his wits about him and reacted well to it.

So lets see. I predicted that we could possibly see a RJ/Tarver 2 type ending. PBF gets hurt or staggered by one of the divisions hardest punchers with over 1:50 left in the round and you don't think I was pretty close. What was ur prediction. Why don't you copy and paste ur shit. Hell I went out on a limb and my shit damn near came true! I'll Holla 5000

My prediction is right on this very page and it was more correct than yours. The difference here is I don't have an endless need for self affirmation that makes me want to brag about a pick I made.

And...there is a big difference between a fighter getting his bell rung and a fighter nearly getting stopped. Mayweather was hurt, but he wasn't close to being stopped. To sugggest otherwise is an exaggeration.
