Mundines jaw of IRON!!! <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Da0RrDQM3sE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Guy was a million years old in that fight, and he was getting whooped from pillar to post. Doesnt show at all that he has a bad chin. Not saying the guy was Hagler or something, and never said he had an iron jaw, but he didnt had a glass jaw, and he could take a decent punch. I know it is neil modus operandi as a troll to completely distort or take out of context something (the poor sad loser is doint it on pretty much every boxing forums) but youre usually better than that.
Mate. Sven Ottke had like 5 KO's or some shit. None of them by way of the big right chrome to the dome. When he beat Joe Gatti by KO, Gatti insisted that Ottkes gloves must have been loaded. Paulie The Mook hit harder. What's a mook, I hear you say.............. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CtAl0bXSmzI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
That's exactly my point, I wouldn't be surprised if that fight was fiixed. And the Gatti thing was ridiculous. Dude was getting hit with bombs and had a glass jaw. Even his promoter said that these accusations were bullshit.
Yeah but they were bombs being dropped by the Wilbur and Orville Wright of boxing. Sven's Bomber got no payload , brother. The fight was "Fixed" in that Ottke brought in a High-Profile green-as-grass kid he thought would be easy.
I don't know, just watched it again, and it really seemed like it was a nothing punch. Might have caught him on the temple though, but I still find it weird.
Temple shot and it pushed his head over onto his shoulder. Mundine has a thin face and thin skull and he had dropped weight to box having been a former Austrailan Rugby League player.
Not the skull of a man designed to take shots. Look at Clotteys big ass forehead. No frontal lobe dementia for him ::
That's the other thing.....like Eubank Jr has his dads chin and Hearns Jr has his dads chin and Monk Foreman has his dads name.
Nobody said he had a great jaw. But the guy took shots from big punchers like Green, Echols, Kessler and Siaca and barely got hurt If he had a glass jaws (a la Khan) he wouldn't have been able to survived all these fights undamaged. Sure, he was fighting a lot more defensively in these fights than he was against Ottke, but still.
Wilfred Benitez vs Maurice Hope That was an awesome way to become the first Latino to win three world titles in three different weight divisions and first boxer to accomplish that feat since Henry Armstrong in 1938!! Not only it was the KO of the Year, but a historical one too! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/cqEk8gU4C6U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
