    mark kocelek (a solo artist and from red house painters and more recently from sun kil moon) is obviously a boxing fan.

    in his song caroline he mentions pacquiao and hatton both.

    on the sun kil moon album ghosts of the great highway he has a song about salvador sanchez and also a 14 minute song about the mancini/kim fight called duk koo kim. he also has a song about pancho villa.
