I've got a love/hate thing with Steely Dan.
I like their stuff, git everything they recorded and it's pretty cool, laid back, catchy listenable stuff.

I hate the 'arent-we-clever' cunts attitude they've always had and when I saw them live in 2001, there was the most annoying prick in front of me with his wife, and he insisted on miming the drum-rolls, movements and plays to at least half the set.



One of the few times I felt murder should be legalized...

 

I think they're clearly a super smart/talented band. If im ever cruising down a west coast freeway admiring cacti they'll dominate my playlist

C) stare off into space while he's raving about Bogert's bass playing ("he was THE KEY to the Vanilla Fudge") and then just suddenly freak the fuck out and stomp him Billy Batts style, using your instep to shred his face to red fleshy ribbons with a series of angled, downward stomps until the cunt is a faceless corpse
