By the way, it's not necessarily an indictment to name opponents you'd wished a fighter had faced.

    PBF:

    Margarito
    Williams
    Casamayor
    Pacquiao
    Martinez
    Cintron

And yet, his stature, style and punching power would've made him a formidable challenger for PBF.

Yes to all three. I am still pissed that Sanchez/Pedroza & Chandler/Pintor never happened. I know Sanchez died young, but he never seemed remotely interested in proving who was the best Featherweight in the world while he was a title holder.

And it did become tedious watching Holmes not fight the best around for the last couple of years of his title reign. The one real blessing of Holmes losing to Spinks was not having to watch him get to 50 - 0 by beating up whoever the Cruiserweight champ was at that moment.

Others I would have liked to have seen...

    Starling - McCrory
    Gerry Cooney - Mike Weaver
Saad Muhammad - Mustafa Muhammed (in a title unification)
    Curry - Pryor
    Hearns - McCallum
    Bowe - Lewis & Tyson
    Antuofermo - Hamsho

agree on every one of those... although Vito was getting a bit long in the tooth when Hamsho was at his peak... still, would have been a fan-friendly fight
