    i dont consider the marquez fight relevant but vargas is better than alvarez or lara and would decisively beat both by stoppage

    It would be pretty close early but Vargas' good footwork enables him to catch up with Lara and probably stop him after middle rounds

    I should have said Lara would end up like Marquez. Obviously, Lara is a better technician than Raul Marquez was. But Vargas walks him down and hammers him. Nando was an accurate puncher.

    Vargas via late rounds stoppage. Nando is a better fighter than Crapnelo even on his worst night. Lara would have some early success but Vargas body punching would slow him down.
