It Would Require Turki Alal-Sheikh Level Money to Make Gomez-Inoue Happen, So Saudi or the U.S. Would Be the Likely Destinations...MSG, the Weekend of the Rican Parade Would Be RIDICULOUS Fight Atmosphere...

Somewhere in Cali Might Work Too...

    MSG would be ideal.

I'm not entirely sure Inoue beats Pintor either.

At some point, his habit of dropping his right hand when he throws a left hook is going to cost him. He takes a good shot, though, gets back up and doesn't seem hurt.

Agreed. The shot Cardenas landed really reminds me of Pep, actually. That shifting back into southpaw then rebounding back with the overhand is very Pep-esque.

There was another point in the fight where Inoue through a jab and very nearly got hit with a perfect counter. Cardenas wasn't good enough to land it, but the opening was very obviously there and I think a guy like Gomez would pounce on it.

122 contender Ramon Cardenas, who dropped undisputed champ Naoya Inoue before being stopped in rd 8 of a sensational action battle in May, will be back to headline a ProBox card vs. Erik Robles Ayala on Dec. 19 in Fort Lauderdale, per promoter @SampsonBoxing. #boxing
