Was 'Sheed Actually "Clutch"???...Let's Not Pretend he was Robert Horry or Anything...Regardless, NEITHER of them were BETTER than Chris Webber...

Yeah, but they never coulda been title contenders with J-Will's wild, non-shooting ass running the point. Bibby was steady, made good decisions, and was an assassin like shooter who had the "clutch" gene that Webber lacked.

But Webber was the Guy Getting 25 & 12 Everynight, in the Playoffs...It's Waaaaaaaay Toooooooo EASY to Say it's "Bibby's Team", for Hitting a Couple Late Game Shots...That's like Calling the Lakers "Horry's Team", Since he was More "Clutch" than Shaq...

Sheed coulda easily been one of the best PF's ever. I don't even think it was his attitude that held him back. Sheed was actually a VERY unselfish, and team oriented player. He needed that mentality that guys like Duncan, and Barkley had, to wanna say "Fuck it! Gimme the ball, and lemme take over."

he had it for a while in portland till the refs fucked him over out of what wouldve been a finals MVP. he was torching the fakers in game 7 of conf finals until they let AC green repeatedly foul him in the 4th quarter

How Well was Bibby Doing in Vancouver, PRIOR to Joining Sacramento???...If Bibby was a Great as You're Portraying him to Be, they've have @ Least SNIFFED the Playoffs @ Some Point...Fact is, Sacremento was Chris Webber's Team...

& Robert Horry was MORE CLUTCH than Sheed...Nonetheless, Sheed was BETTER than Horry & Webber was BETTER than Sheed...

'Sheed Lacked WORK ETHIC & Thought he KNEW Everything...Instead of Being 1 of the League Leaders in REBOUNDS & Points in the PAINT, he was Content WASTING his Career Shooting Ill Advised 3's...It's Fine to Be a VERSATILE Big, but Take Care of the Big Man ESSENTIALS 1st...Sheed NEVER Did That...

    This I can agree with.

He was miles better than C-Webb as a defender though.

I'll give it to C-Webb for 01. He played on a very high level that year, and was a strong MVP candidate. I found most of the rest of his career to more of a case of "What if...."

wallace was better than webber in the post and defensively. as well as had better range out to the arc. and was a more clutch shot maker in crunchtime. webber was more athletic running the break, handling the ball, passing and rebounding.

Robert Horry is Living Proof of WHY Being "Clutch" CAN Be Overrated...For his CAREER, Robert Horry Averaged 7pts, 4.8reb, 2.1ast...Webber Averaged 20.7pts, 9.8reb, 4.2ast, yet Apparently LACKED a "Clutch Gene"...

Changing the subject completely, who's career do yall view as the biggest waste due to injury: Penny, Hill, or B.Roy?

Roy had a SHORTER Stint, so he's the Bigger Waste in REED's Opinion...Penny & GHill Each Had Individual Accolades & Playoff Successes...Roy was just BEGINNING to Enter that Stratosphere, when his Career was Cut Short...

If this is STILL about Sheed & Webber, You're Certainly OVERRATING Sheed's "Clutch" Factor...Webber's Career #'s SHIT on Sheed's Also...He was Simply a BETTER Basketball Player...

dont really know what there is to over rate. if a game is on the line and you gave me a choice to dump it into the post to webber or wallace give me wallace ALL day. if i have a choice to kick it out to webber or wallace for a jump shot at the end of the game give me wallace.

The Post is DEBATEABLE for Certain...By the End of this Hypothetical Game, Wallace Would Finish w/14 & 7, Webber w/21 & 10...Based on their CAREER Productivity, it's Pretty Clear who the BETTER Player was, in REED's Opinion...@ the Same Time, Robert Horry was "More Clutch" than Shaq, but Nobody Gives a Shit...

I dunno if Jay would have ever lived up to his hype.

To answer my own question, I say Penny. Penny could have been TRULY special. He was closest we ever saw to a more athletic version of Magic.

REED ISN'T Hating, but when People Bring Up the "Clutch" Factor w/Webber (Or LACK Thereof), it's Only NATURAL to Point Out LESSER Players who were UNDENIABLY "Clutch"...You'd Obviously LIKE for a Player to Be Clutch, but it's NOT the Be All to END All...
