lin is jag scrub, bum, nobody are applicable in regard to what he's gettin paid and the hype he gets cuz he's asian. he is far from an average starting nba pg. that was my main contention from the start. still dont consider him among the top 25 pgs. i only brought up that he averaged 12pts on .43% FGs in december AND january since texmex wanted to hype the kid for november and his allegedly improved shooting/ fg%. we shall see as the season wears on if he reverts back to his early season shooting or he remains in the low 40s

do you consider lin an average starting nba pg ? teams lin definitely would not start for : heat, hawks, wizards, bobcats, raptors, nets, celtics, sixers, pacers, cavs, thunder, blazers, nuggets, wolves, clippers, spurs, grizzlies, suns, pelicans, warriors. many of those teams lin wouldnt even be in the rotation off the bench as the backup PG. not even counting the bulls since rose is hurt, or his own team which he doesnt start for.

you are over estimating lins ability to help good teams. lin is pretty much worthless without the ball in his hands and he's not a guy you want with the ball in his hands alot if you actually have guys who can hoop on your team. darren collison would start over lin for sure with the clips. even if you want to imagine these guys dont exist because they are injured, all who are better players than lin, he is STILL not an average pg. is he really any better than calderon who shoots damn near 50% for his career and has a 4-1 assist to t/o ratio?

Exactly. If the dude gets attention because he's Asian, why hate? There have been other Asians in the NBA that got no love, endorsements etc..because they really were scrubs. As far as his numbers, he's putting up Average NBA PG stats and shooting 46.3% on the year, there are "elite" PG out there that are getting 20pts a game and shooting close to 40%, that is not efficient. Lin just got a triple double coming off the bench, in his last 3 games, 17/8/7 off the bench. I look at Lin's game logs, and in most games in which he plays 36+ mins, he puts up around 17-20 pts and 6-8 dimes while shooting 45%. Neil has stated so many times that he isn't starting and I've stated many times that he doesn't fit in well with a ball dominate SG in Harden. All you have to do is look at ball dominate SG's in the past such as Jordan, Kobe, Wade, and take a gander at the starting PG's numbers. They are never impressive.
