41-10-9 from Durant today, really cementing himself as the MVP, the only thing that stops him now is injury.

griffin might have torn his achilles if he was wearing cleats on an NFL field.

The return lasted 4 minutes, he's not coming back in with a 31-point 1st quarter lead

KD is peaking right now and he's still young. I love how he's improved his all around game, especially his passing. No wonder Lebron is his Idol, as stated by himself. MVP, no doubt.

KD is indeed having an absurdly great year. I've been harsh on him in the past, however, IF he can maintain this level all year, and by chance IF he can lead OKC to a ring, then it'll probably be the best season for a wing player since early 90's MJ.

But those are two big if's.

Yup, the biggest IF is beating Miami in the finals. The Heat seems to have their number.

You're assuming that Miami even gets past the Pacers, which is a big assumption.

Unless KD gets injured, OKC will win the west. The Spurs are too broken down, and old, and the Blazers arent quite good enough yet.

But yes, IF OKC went to the finals, went up against the Heat, and won, and if they did so with KD playing at this level, then it'd be one of the truly great individual seasons.

BTW - the Heat didn't have their number when the Thunder RAPED them on their HOME COURT two weeks ago. Things change.

Until Somebody Beats the Heat in the PLAYOFFS, Everything Else is WISHFUL THINKING...They Can Have All the Regular Season Wins they Want, but REED Can't See OKC, Indiana or Anybody Else Beating the Heat 4 Times in a SERIES:nono:...

Wishful thinking? LMFAO!! Reed you act like the Heat are some dominant team. The Heat are ONLY champs right now because the Spurs pulled ARGUABLY the biggest choke job in NBA history. And the Pacers pushed them to 7. Had the Heat swept the Pacers, and Spurs, you might have this "wishful thinking" case. The Pacers and Thunder are VERY capable of beating the Heat this year. KD is CONSIDERABLY better now than he was 2 years ago when the Heat thrashed them. Bron ain't getting any better though.

The Heat are REPEAT Champions & have Been to 3 CONSECUTIVE Finals, Brother X...That CAN'T Be Slighted or Overlooked in Favor of ANY Dude or Team Having a Good REGULAR Season...The Heat MADE the Spurs Choke...Bron Took his Game to a Level of DESPERATION we've NEVER Seen...Late in the Game, he hit a HUGE 3, Then Missed 1, Bosh Tips the Rebound to Ray Ray, who TIES the Game w/a 3...Those were All HEAT ACTIONS...The Spurs had a Whole NOTHER Game to Make Things Right, if they were the Better Team, but they Clearly WEREN'T...The Heat Beat them CONVINCINGLY in Game 7...Bron has Become MORE Efficient Every Single Year, INCLUDING this Season & He's Merely Going Through the Motions Right Now...The Heat have ANOTHER Gear in them...

Believe it or Not, People WROTE OFF Jordan's Team that Won his 3rd Championship...Phoenix was the "IT" Team that Season, Best Record in the League, League MVP in Barkley...Meanwhile, the Bulls Ho-Hummed their Way through the Regular Season & LOST Games to Teams they had NOfuckingBUSINESS Losing To (Sound Familiar???)...Nonetheless, when it Came Playoff Time, the Bulls Took it a Level NONE of the Other Teams Could Match & Beat Phoenix in 6, CLINCHING on Phoenix's Home Floor, No Less...REED's Point is, it's Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Toooooooooooooo EARLY to Count Out the Miami Heat...
