The Pacer's GM I believe it was, tweeted earlier today that Vogel's job is safe and yes, McHale is Garbage, but Brooks is better smelling Garbage.
REED's Never Said Beverley WASN'T a Good Defensive Player, but in the NBA Good Offense BEATS Good Defense, More Times than Not... Again, A LOT of Lillard's 31 in Game 1 was ON Beverley...& Just like You Wanna Heap Some of those Points on Lin, You Need to ALSO Attribute Some of Lillard's FG % to Him Simply MISSING Shots...But You're TRYING to have It Both Ways, Claiming Lilllard ONLY Goes Off when Beverley ISN'T On Him & that Beverley is 100% Responsible for Lillard's Low %... Again, there ISN'T a Coach in the League that'd be UPSET w/his Starting PG AVERAGING Nearly 25, 9 and 8 in the Playoffs, ESPECIALLY w/a Good Defender Guarding Him... Are You HONESTLY Telling REED you Think Beverley is Getting the BETTER of the Matchup???.... REED:dunno:
I agree that especially in today's game, great offense does beat great defense. Lillard did get about half his points off of Lin in game one, he couldn't keep up with the dude. Bev did "OK" on him in game one. Game 2, Bev did a very good job. I definitely do NOT believe Bev's getting the better of the matchup, but when he's on him, he's keep him in check, that's what he's supposed to do.
Durant loves to try to hit that bomb shot at the end instead of just being a pro and getting the easiest shot possible.
BALLSY Comeback by OKC, to Send this Shit to OT...Would Russell Westbrook's Critics Kindly SHUTthefuckUP???!!!...This Comeback was ALL about Him... REED:clapagain:
It's fact. Watch all of his end of game shots..they are always long threes regardless of the situation.
:: you simpleton. i guess durant is having a well above average shooting game since he has 30 points on 10-27 shooting?
It'd be great if this leads to Brooks getting fired. I understand he has to play Perkins a lot this series to try to contain Randolph and Gasol but playing Sefolosha and Perkins basically has his team playing 3 on 5. Brooks is playing the playoffs the exact way he played the regular season.
sefolosha is a below average spot up shooter and cannot create his own shot. he can finish on the break. that is all he can do for you offensively. ibaka is a limited offensive player in what he can do as far as hitting open mid range shots and offensive rebounding. he has no post game to speak of.
Sefolosha sucks. His nick name should be trick or treat Sefolosha because all he's good for is sitting behind the arc and waiting for somebody to pass it to him. Then you got a 50-50 chance of him making the shot (trick or treat). The dude's been in the league for a while now, he should be a much better player than he is. His only value is defensive stopper and 3 point specialist. I agree OKC plays a retarded style of ball but Sefolosha and Perkins playing together is a huge drain on the teams offense as well.
There is a number of so called spot of shooters that do well on good teams. Look at a guy like Marco Bellenelli. Now, granted, he is much better than Sefelosha, but really who knows how good Sefolosha really is when he's given so few opportunities? Sefolosha at times looks good. Bellenelli played with the Bulls last year, the Bulls probably had one of the worst offensive schemes in the league, he shot 38 percent from the floor and 35 percent from 3 and average 9.6 points. Arguably an all around worse player than Thabo given the lack of defense. He enters the best offensive scheme in the league this year and is one of the league's best bench players. It's all about coaching and teamwork. When you play in a laughable system like OKC with two star players who don't pass the ball you tend to look bad. Rudy Fernandez is another example of a great talent that underachieved on poor teams. ISO ball is not suited for a lot of players. And with the poor state of coaching a lot of GMs like Morey are basically stockpiling nothing but a bunch of one on one talents and thinking they have a team with it. Sure they will score and you'll never be short of offensive options but I'll take a Danny Green or a Trevor Ariza over a Jordan Crawford or a JR Smith any day.
You're trying to overemphasis the fact they aren't giving Sef the ball. Well I've seen Sef with the ball and try to attack the basket numerous times. He sucks at dribbling, getting his own shot and making layups in traffic when he does attack the basket. It's probably the main reason they don't give him the ball unless he's spotting up behind the arc. I know every time he attacks the basket it makes me yell NO!!! Also I got no problem with the spotup shooter/defensive stopper guy, I just have a problem with Sefolosha playing too many minutes.
bellinelli is a much better offensive player than sefalosha. aside from shooting. terrible comparison by a terrible poster.
I don't know what to tell you, you clearly didn't read the post or you somehow missed the point entirely.
Ibaka has a Reliable Jumper from the Elbow and the Baseline...OKC Should Establish Ibaka @ the START of Games, they Way the 90's Bulls Used to Get Horace Grant Off Early, the Way YOUR Bad Boys Used to Get James "Buddha" Edwards Off Early... REED:hammert:
