I agree Dwight isn't too bright. How was Lin terrible? He was the best PG on either team. He's a lot of things but slow isn't one of them. Dude was getting to the rack at will. Of his 16 pts, 13 were the result of him driving, either getting layups or getting fouled on his drives. Also, he got 3 steals. Slow players aren't know for such things. If Lin is terrible, the other PG's on both teams shouldn't be in the NBA. Barkley is about as bright as Dwight. Rockets will be fine, and will be in the Finals vs the Heat and lose. They need to get rid of that Twin Towers crap and ship Asik out for a better 4 asap.
Then take him out when the hacking plan started. Rebounds are not hard to get against this lakers team.
It was neither, Bev was screened by Gasol and Lin was being held jersey and all by the dirty old fucker Nash, it was Dwight's job to switch and he did, but was too late.

Neil, Lin took a shit on ANOTHER player you said was better than him. Lowry 16pts on 37% shooting, 6 dimes. Lin 31pts on 58% shooting, 5 boards Not bad for a "scrub"
Lowry had some brief flashes of brilliance while in Houston, but I'm afraid he'll be no better than Darren Collison.
Why are you justifying yourself to him? Shortstack neil's opinion is as valid as a subway card for identification purposes
Was just about to Point Out that "Scrub" Jeremy Lin Putting Up a MEDIOCRE 31 & 5, but Looks like Someone Beat REED To it... REED:l2:
RIDICULOUS Night of College Basketball, Yesterday... The MAJORITY of the PROJECTED Top 5 Players in the Forthcoming 2014 NBA Draft were on Display...Andrew Wiggins, Julius Randle, Jabari Parker, Marcus Smart... Randle's # 1 Ranked Kentucky Wildcats Lost to # 2 Michigan State, 78-74...Randle finished with 27pts & 13boards, on 9-14 Shooting...But he was also 9-15 from the Line & had 8 TO's...Still, You HAD to Be Impressed w/the Performance in the 1st MARQUEE Game of Randle's Collegiate Career... Even Though he's FROM the Dallas Area, REED's Been Somewhat RELUCTANT to Fully Accept Randle, Based on him Seeming to Be MORE Interested in Perimeter Exploits than True BIG MAN Shit...REED Doesn't Mind a BIG Showing Off Versatility, Athleticism, Distance Shooting, etc, but NOT to the Detriment of Paint Presence, Rebounds, Blocked Shots & +50% Field Goal Percentage...GOOD to See Randle OWNING the Boards & OutMANNING Opposing Post Players Down Low, Thus Faaaaar.. Wiggins and Parker BOTH Lived up to Billing, with Wiggins & Kansas Walking Away w/a Win Over Duke, 94-83...Parker STARTED Stronger, but Wiggins' Stellar FINISH Ultimately Won the Game...27pts, 9boards, 2stls, 4-7 from the 3, for Parker...22pts, 8boards for Wiggins, with 16 of those points Coming in the 2nd Half... Meanwhile, Grumpy Ol' Sophomore, Marcus Smart & the Oklahoma State Cowboys Defecated Upon Some School Called Utah Valley, 93-40. Smart Showcased his Customary Brand of All Around Brilliance w/14pts, 9 stls, 5boards, 4dimes and a block. Smart's Dallas area High School teammate, Phil Forte, led the Cowboys w/19pts, on 7-11 shooting, 4-8 from the 3. REED:dancingBaby:
Between Parker and Wiggins, Parker seemed the more polished of the two. Something about his game reminds me of Carmelo Anthony. The top four or five teams should get franchise players.
vitale pointed it out but i thought so before that, that randle reminded me of randolph. parker compares favorably to anthony based on that game. wiggins ended up with nice numbers but he didnt show me a whole lot yet. raw
Parker reminded me of a Melo/Pierce hybrid. I like Wiggins, but I think he won't be THAT impressive in the pros. He'll be good but he's not franchise-changing material. Frankly, I don't see what others see in him apart from his elite athleticism. I'll watch his games from now on to see if I change my mind.
wiggins looks like harrison barnes looked when he arrived in college. all the hype but didnt seem like a super star then. now he has continued to develop and seems to be an all star talent in the NBA
The "scrub" followed up by going for 34/12/5 on 53% shooting. I think I'll leave the poor little hater Neil alone now. ::
The Parker-Melo Analogy is Sound...Like a Young Melo, Parker's ALREADY Got a Polished, NBA Ready OFFENSIVE Game... Randle & Randolph is a Sound Analogy as Well, Though Randle's ALOT more Athletic than Randolph & Possesses More PERIMETER Skills than ZBo... Wiggins has Been Getting BronESQUE Hype, but his Temperament is Closer to that of McGrady's...Bron had a Ridiculous MOTOR to Compliment his Off the Charts Athleticism...Wiggins is More LAID BACK, ala, McGrady... Smart Reminds REED of a Cross btwn Joe Dumars and Eric Bledsoe...It's Gonna Be FUN Watching these Guys Bang Heads this Year... REED:hammert:
Well if Neil was looking for some ammunition against Lin he could have basically blamed the loss on Lin missing 4 consecutive free throws. Howard pretty much did the same though, so it'd be a stretch. Really loving the Thunder's new center Steven Adams. So far this guy looks like he should have been one of the top 3-5 draft picks if not number one. He's a center with beast like tendencies, rebounds, passes well, has good hands and feet and is just all around skilled. He should already be starting ahead of Perkins (although that isn't saying much). Beverly looks very solid as a backup, Lamb was a trade, they had to take a chance with Perry Jones based on his talent level and where he fell in the draft even though it looks like he fell for a good reason and they won't get much out of him. But Steven Adams? It looks like the Thunder have done it again.
Funny thing about Lin is that if Houston is offered a decent pg, they would trade Lin in a fucking second.
I don't see it. Like who? Lowry? Dragic? Jose Calderon? Bledsoe? Only guy I think Houston would trade Lin for is Bledsoe and I'm not sure they make that trade. Lin is already a decent pg, and with the numbers he's putting up right now, he's better than decent. I don't know if he can sustain this Linsanity II type of game he's being putting out there but if he does, Houston would be crazy to move him.
Say what you want. hes playing well so far this year. We'll see if it continues. Basically my knocks on him are defensively and as a spot up shooter which is what what that team needs him to be efficient at to play with the talent they have. if anything if he keeps playing efficiently offensively they can deal him for more than he's worth for a guy who's a better fit
I'm not sure how well that argument would work out since Lin was 5 of 6 from the FT line. :scratcher:
Now this I agree with. Lowry? Lin already took a good dump on him last game. Calderon? Lin shut him down 0-10 shooting. Only CP3 has outplayed Lin so far this season. And the thing is, he was putting up 15/6/4/2 with 48% FG and 39% 3pt FG since last year's all star break. This year, he's even better than that and has improved his D and shot most of all. I'm not even a big fan of Lin, just like calling out the haters and if anyone calls a player a "scrub" and he clearly isn't, I'm going to point that out as well.
