Id favour Atlanta over any team in the East not named the Cavaliers.

Atlanta would beat Chicago. TBH, I would favor CHI if Rose were still injured. He's an inefficient chucker. They were better off with Pau and Butler carrying the offensive load.

We'll Find Out in Due Time, but REED Can't Fathom Atlanta Beating Chicago in a SERIES...

Atlanta's the NEW Kid on the Block, w/a Style of Play Everyone's Enamored w/, but just Because it's Worked for the Spurs DOESN'T Mean it'll Work for Everybody Else...

While REED's @ it, he DOESN'T Think Golden State's a TRUE Championship Contender Either...

Steph Curry's having a FANTASTIC Season...The Clear Frontrunner for League MVP...Klay Thompson is Probably THE Best 2nd Option Guy in the League, @ the Moment...

But to Paraphrase Charles Barkley "You CAN'T Rely on Jump shots in the Playoffs"...Charles is RIGHT...

Sure, the Spurs SHOOTING was Phenomenal in Last Year's Playoffs, but that Resulted from Duncan & Diaw's POST Presence...Make No Mistake, it STARTED w/their Paint Play...Conversely, Golden State Plays OUTSIDE-IN, as their PERIMETER Game is the Primary Focus...

When Bron Finally Won Rings, he was ATTACKING the Rack & Posting Up More...Ditto for Dirk...Obviously, there's a Time & Place for Jumpshots, but it's a Slippery Slope RELYING on Them, w/CHAMPIONSHIP Aspirations...

Golden State's 1 of REED's Absolute Favorite Teams to WATCH, & they're Playing Lights Out This Season, but they AIN'T Winning a Championship...

Yeah. My point is that a loss, even a double digit one doesn't mean shit.

Hell, the GSW lost to the Lakers by double digits too. AND?

if you are a scrubby NBA team this is the team to pray you win the lottery. Karl Towns it the next great big man to come into the league. the guy is huge and his feel for the game/touch is top notch.

Cousins does NOT want Karl to be his coach.

He tried to get Rudy Gay's "camp" to team up with his to block the signing.

Lakers have already let it be known that their top 5 pick (if it's above 5 they lose it to the Suns) is ready and available for the Kings no matter what number it is for Cousins.

Karl is how I feel about John fox as a coach. He'll improve the team to a certain point but won't win it all. Not quite sure why cousins is opposed to hiM tho. Big get for the fake show if they could pull that off

Cousins is just pissed that the FO never consulted him in the firing of Malone and in the hiring of Karl. He feels disrespected.

I disagree with Charles's "live by the jumper, die by the jumper" line. First of all every team shoots jumpers, and last season's San Antonio wasn't the only team to win a championship with lots of jump shooting. Dallas won theirs pretty much the same way, not because Dirk was in the post, but because nearly the whole team shot lights out. Also Golden State is a team that plays for each other and has a strong team concept, not to mention they have top 5 defense too. Curry isn't just a shooter, he gets to the rim and finds lots of open men for easy buckets, in fact I feel their whole team concept is based on passing first and shooting second. If they do have a bad shooting night then maybe they lose 1 game of the series, but I don't see the whole team going into a slump in the playoffs. I think they can win it all and barring a major injury I pick them as the favorites.

Who do you think wins it all REED?

I stated a few weeks ago that the Rockets/Suns talks had ended regarding Dragic because of the Sun's firm stance on Motiejunas being included. Now the Suns see the writing on the wall as in OKC catching them and knowing their team is not "balanced."

They still want Montiejunas, but it does look like they will cave.

As it stands right now, it will be a bidding war between Rockets and Lakers and a few more teams might pop up. Suns aren't too interested in Randle and the Lakers offering their number one draft pick this year is pointless, because if its over #6, the Suns get it anyway and adding Dragic just might push them to #6 (they would pick #4 right now) plus they may have other plans for that pick (Cousins.)

I heard something about GS offering Lee, but that makes no damn sense in any way for either team.

I'll know more about the Dragic situation by Monday.

Suns are so stupid. They should be trading Bledsoe instead. Dragic is one of the best PG's in the league right now.

I agree, Dragic is better than Bled, but they signed him to a new contract, it looks like they believe he's their guy and also, he'd be harder to trade, salaries have to match and Dragic makes much less than Bledsoe.

Suns are dumb. Signing Thomas when they already had Bledsoe and Dragic basically said "we are getting rid of one of our guards." They showed their hand and have no leverage now.

Bledsoe's a Few Years YOUNGER than Dragic, Though...& While Dragic's More EFFICIENT, their #'s are about the Same...

TODAY, Dragic's SLIGHTLY Better...But What about 2 Years from Now???...3-4 Years from Now???...Even WITH Dragic, Phoenix AIN'T Going Anywhere, so w/Everything Else Being just about Equal, you Go w/the YOUNGER Guy, in REED's Opinion...

The thing is Dragic gets undervalued by his own team. Happened the first time around with Phoenix, then in Houston and now Phoenix is doing it again. He should aim for a contender IMO. If Rondo decides to leave after this season, Dallas should be all over Dragic.

Lavine's dunk were great, but somewhat repetitive. He should've attempted a 180 windmill.
