i know he was a shell when he came to the NBA. no knees. doubt he couldve stopped oneal one on one much but wouldve caused big problems on the other end and was a much better all around player as far as shooting, passing and smarts.

preposterous. guy never won shit until duncan arrived. i highly doubt he wouldve won a title even if olajuwon wasnt there and he had to play orlando or NY. never liked his post game much. he had a good mid range shot and was athletic running the break. mobile guy but he got pushed around by most big centers with post game. put howard with duncan and they win titles.

Curry setting the tone early with 30/6/5
Livingston also played very well. Great off the bench player.

Timmy had the benefit most his career of having Parker and Ginobli as his sidekicks. Robinson never had such 2nd options. Timmy also had Pop, arguably the goat coach. Robinson never had such a coach.

The exception might be 03, where Duncan basically carried them to a ring with an unbelievable playoff run that Robinson probably didn't have the intangibles to duplicate.

So, Duncan's peak over D-Rob is up for debate.

Howard? No debate there. David Robinson was better than Coward at every single facet of the game. Both of them were flawed and relied mainly on talent. And Robinson was MUCH more talented.....offensively AND defensively.

Howard with a bruised knee. Capela will get some serious burn next game.

Hawks have zero shot blocking. James will live in the paint. Carroll is way too small to check Him without someone behind him protecting the rim

Fucking weirdest thing. Curry just got fined for flopping on that 3 pointer over Terrance Jones, where Jason Terry first ran into him, and then Jones obviously got a piece of him trailing from behind.

Of all the calls they could have called flopping on. I expect Harden to get fined for Half a Mill, for unnecessary seizures every time he enters the lane.

Do they only get fined for flopping when the referees don't actually get baited into calling for foul shots?

From what I remember, Curry only had 3 FT's the entire game, and at least 2 of them were for on purpose fouls at the end of the game.

Curry shoots jumpshots. He isn't gonna draw a lot of fouls. And he too does the paul/harden-esque body contortions when he gets contact while dribbling.

Regardless you and your naysaying ilk must have had some effect on the officiating in the first half because harden didn't get many calls despite clear contact on his way to the rim. To me, it helped his game as he played a lot better afterward

You didn't find it the slightest bit odd that Curry got fined for THAT play, when there were about 300 better examples to fine a guy for since the playoffs started?

I thought that play was a foul and should've been a 4 pt play. I think the whole flopping fine thing is a subjective joke

Yeah that was stupid. Curry fell legit, look at his legs when he lands. It wasn't a foul but it wasn't a flop either.

Wow, shows you who the real MVP was. Bron took the shittiest team last season all the way to the WCF and very likely the Finals.

For the LAST TIME, the MVP is NOT based around who the best player is. If THAT were the case, then Jordan would have won every single MVP award from 87-98, save for the years he retired.

We ALL know Lebron James is the best player in basketball. That's not disputed.

Just like we all knew Jordan was the best player in basketball the year Barkley won MVP.

Curry had a fantastic season, has been fucking AMAZING in the playoffs, and rightfully deserves his MVP. Honestly, save for Magic Johnson, Curry is having one of the best seasons a point guard has EVER had. IF the Warriors win it all, then it'll certainly go down as one of the best point guard seasons ever.

Hawks-Cavs series is already over. If the Hawks were to have ANY chance, they HAD TO win game 1. They didn't, and this series is as good as over.

If Houston loses tonight, then that series is over as well. Unlike Chris Fail and the Clippers, the Warriors are too good for the Houston to come out of a deep hole. Houston MUST win tonight, or you can automatically put GS and Cleveland in the finals.

unlike the clippers, golden state may be playing against a rocket team without their center.

This guy is like a young Duncan without the defensive impact.

Knicks fans are crying right now, but one of those last two will not hurt them. They're both very good PG's.

Is Howard supposed to throw down everytime someone calls him a name? Do NBA "fights" where absolutely nothing happens get your dick hard?

Of all the players in the NBA, how many do you think are "fake."

    Try almost all of them.

I look forward to the Rockets making this a series texmex. Games have been excellent so hopefully it goes 6 or 7. Harden can't keep up his current shooting clip but some of these other guys can pick up the slack
