Love has already said he plans to stay in Cleveland no matter what. Says winning is the most important thing to him.

who will want varajao making 9+ mill the next two years? marion? dude makes the minimum. the only guys cleveland actually has on the books for next season is varajao, irving and smith if he exercises his player option. shumpert is a free agent too.

Buy their contract out for 0.50 on the dollar and then let them go. If you buy their contracts, it doesnt count against the cap right?

They could give him the money in one shot. He dosnt have to wait. So if they pay him .50 on the dollar for his 9mil it still counts against the cap? that's crazy. What if Gilbert just used a subsidiary to write the check?

if they want to use the amnesty clause they can get varajao off the books, but still have to pay his salary. at that point they could negotiate a buy out like you suggested. thats a one time thing for every franchise every 5 years. so i dunno if they have already used it in the past 5

Depends on the price. Shumperts defense is valuable and he still has upside

He is in the top ten right now, but it's too early too tell where he goes when it's all set and done.

Only because the air in Denver is so thin. It's like picking up a fat person underwater.............or on the moon.

Top 10? My problem with top lists is that over time, the competition becomes too tight and you can't really displace one player over another. Bron is the best of his era, not sure which number in an imaginary top 5 or 10 list. But he's up there with Bird, Jordan, Magic, Kareem, Duncan, Shaq, Kobe, etc. even if he loses this series. The guy is just that good.

LeBron James is the Most UNIQUE Player in Basketball History...

The Closest Analogy REED's Heard, to Describe Bron is "Magic Johnson w/Michael Jordan's SCORING Ability"...But Bron's Waaaaaaaaaaaay More ATHLETIC than Magic Ever Was & Waaaaaaaaaaaaay BIGGER than Jordan...Literally, he's Got the Build of a Power Forward (Karl Malone/James Worthy) w/the Speed, Quickness, Lateral Movement, Reflexes & Aerial Wherewithal of a GUARD...

Sure, There's Been BIG Guys w/Guard Like Skills (To a Degree) & Smaller Guys who "Played Big", but NO ONE Quite like LeBron James...He Can Score Effectively from ANYWHERE on the Floor (Perimeter or Post)...He Can DOMINATE a Game w/his Scoring, Passing, Rebounding or Defense...On that Note, he Defends 4 of the 5 Positions on the Court, VERY Well...

He has a VERY High Motor, VERY High Basketball IQ and he's Unselfish...

Bron's Place in History Can't Rightfully Be Determined Until he's FINISHED Playing, but he's Already Amassed a LOFTY Resume:

5 CONSECUTIVE NBA Finals (Only Bill Russell and Bob Cousy have Done This)...
Reached the Finals in 6 of his 12 NBA Seasons...

EASILY Top 10, ARGUABLY Top 5, Already...& w/Another 2-3 Years REMAINING, @ his Current Level of Play, LeBron James Could Stake an Even HIGHER Claim...

if james were more clutch/assertive at the end of close meaningful games there would be no question who the greatest ever is. maybe he'll get there. Im not sure how much longevity he'll have beyond the next 2-3 years
