I don't care how good Simmons MIGHT BE, I can never fully buy into the hype until the guy has played an NBA game. For every prospect that's lived UP to the enormous hype (Lebron, Shaq).... there's countless others who bust.
Simmons is the ONLY Guy on his Team w/NBA Potential, Yet NO Team in the Country Can Contain him, Brother X...He's Averaging 20pts, 13reb, 5ast, 2stls and a block on 58% Shooting...Those are ABSURD #'s Considering Dude has NO Help Whatsoever, on his Squad... But it's MORE than the #'s...Dude is Built Like a Young LeBron, Only TALLER (Not QUITE as Athletic, but NOT Far Off Either), Handles and Dishes like a GUARD and is UNSTOPPABLE Driving to the Hole and/or Posting Up...if, If, IF he Develops a Reliable Jumper and 3pt Range, he'll Be UNfuckingGUARDABLE in the NBA... Like Neil Said, Only INJURIES Can Get In the Way of this Young Buck Being an NBA Superstar...5 Years From Now, He'll EASILY Be Considered 1 of the 10 Best Players in the League, Probably HIGHER than That... I watched the Cleveland - Dallas game today (I guess it was played yesterday). A real good game, even though I am a fan of Mavs. Cavs shot plenty of three-pointers and it eventually paid off. Also, Lebron wasn't as dominating as sometimes, but in the OT he just couldn't be guarded

leonard is a great defender and has developed into a great all around player but that clip also illustrates how its easier to check guys when you got duncan sitting back there. one of the best rim protectors in the history of the game
Just caught the Warriors vs Cavs game. Damn that was brutal. I haven't been able to watch that much of NBA but to me GS looked like the San Antonio championship team. It seemed like their every attack was planned three or four steps ahead and they scored with every shot. Curry was phenomenal. Cav's only tactic seemed to be to hand the rock to Lebron and hope he bullies it in. He was left all alone and didn't have a good day either. I recently watched Cleveland beating Dallas in OT and they seemed much better there. Did GS make them look this bad or was it an off-night for them?
THIS... If Duncan's NOT There, Leonard Gets DUNKED On and Andrew DOESN'T Post That Gif.... REED:hammert:
Bron is STILL the Best Player in the League, but Father Time HAS Started to Catch Up w/Him... REED:hammert:
A Little of Both... Neither Bron, Nor Kyrie Irving, Nor Kevin Love Played Well...Hard to Win When your Stars UNDERperform... More Importantly, THE LAST Team You Want to Fall Behind Against is Golden State...On 1 Hand, There's NO Lead Golden State CAN'T Overcome, but On the Flipside, if You're DOWN 20 Points to Them, the Game is Pretty Much OVER...They Simply Shoot the Ball Tooooooooooooooooooooo WELL (Collectively) for Teams to Make THAT Type of Comeback Against Them... & After Falling Behind Very Early, Cleveland Made the Mistake of Jacking up Ill Advised 3's, Which they Missed, Which Golden State Converted Into Even MORE Points of their Own, Which Lead to the Utter DESTRUCTION We Witnessed... Golden State Plays the Spurs Monday Though...That'll Be an EPIC Regular Season Game... REED:bravo:
Great Point.... Pop is DEFINITELY Enough of a PRICK to Fuck Up a Certified Basketball WET DREAM, by DNP'ing Critical Players in a Matchup of That Ilk.... REED
Sometimes I get the feeling Lebron don't want a coach, he just wants a bunch of buddies and an entourage.
Curry is just ridiculous. He's not of this world. He'll take a three from literally anywhere on the court, and good chance it's going in.
Seen very little of this kid. You think he's the real deal? Everyone's talking but I dislike the hypetrain. His dad Dave used to play for my hometown Melbourne Tigers. 6'9 100+ kg PF enforcer type. I hear Ben plays more like a point.
No, he's not Brotha REED. Time to face reality. At this point in time, Curry is pretty clearly the best player on the planet. That's a combination of father time slowing down Bron, and Curry raising his game to an absurd level. A historic level, really. You could make an argument for Lebron if he even showed FLASHES of his prime self this year, but he hasn't. He's looked like he's lost a step ALLLL year long. The fact is, he left the remainder of his prime in his great finals performance last year. That was the last we'll see of vintage Lebron. Lebron James is now the SECOND best player in the league. 3rd is arguable. Both KD and Westbrook have a case for third.
I have seen Curry twice this season and he has looked amazing. I think part of it is that the team tactics of GS allow him to look even greater as he gets just the right kind of help from his team. It seems that Lebron has to try to take care of everything himself
Difficult to argue with winning though. It could make sense that SA (or GS) doesn't play with its best guys in this game. They don't necessarily want to reveal all their tricks at this point of the season since play-offs are yet to come. I agree it sucks for the audience but a good coach does everything to win the trophy and if that is the way, so be it.
The Thing is, WHATtheFUCK Does Bron Want from a Coach???... Reports Are, Blatt WASN'T "Authoritative" Enough for Bron's Liking, DIDN'T Earn His Respect Because he DIDN'T Hold Bron Accountable...Yet, During Bron's 1st Season in Miami, He was Complaining to DWade about Eric Spoelstra's HANDS ON Approach to Coaching...It Seems Bron SPECIALIZES in Being Unhappy w/his Coaches, Regardless WHAT They Do... & It's a Fucking JOKE How Cavs Brass Are Going to GREAT Lengths to Convince the Masses Bron had NATHAN to Do w/Blatt's Dismissal...As if he was Oblivious to the Whole Process...Bullshit...
