irving got tired or choked or whatever in the 4th quarter. he had several shots at the rim he missed. plus took several bad shots. james continued to let him go 1 on 1 and the cavs ran zero offense. just standing around. i do think a younger james would have beat golden state with this current cavs roster.
It's a safe bet. People talk up LeBron like he isnt greatly diminished. Im not even sure hes capable of a big 40+ scoring night with all the chips on the like like hes done in the past
VERY Winnable Game for Cleveland, but a Severe LACK of Defensive Rebounding is What Ultimately COST Them the Game...@ 1 Point, Golden State Got 4-5 CONSECUTIVE Rebounds, THEN Would Get 2-3 More on an Ensuing Possession...UNfuckingACCEPTABLE!!!... Inevitably, 1 of Those Offensive Rebounds Leaked Out to Steph, Klay, Harrison Barnes or Whomever, and HURT the Cavs... REED:baa:
As critical as I am of CP3, the Cavs need CP3 as their PG. Kyrie Irving is NOTHING more than a scorer. No passing or PG skills whatsoever and can't play a lick of D.
Nonsense, Lebron has the ball so much CP3 wouldn't be as effective. The Cavs need people to put up points.
Lebron and CP3 are best friends. I think Lebron would trust Paul enough to allow him to be the floor general and playmaker. Cavs don't need scoring. They need better IQ. Irving and JR Stiff are retards.
Trying to imply that Kyrie is the reason why the Cavs are losing is absurd. If Paul was there they'd still be down 3 games to 1 and you would be crucifying CP3 for not being clutch in big games so who are you fooling???
I think their execution would be alot better with Paul. LONG-TERM though, of course you take Irving. He's still 24, while Paul is no spring chicken and is nearing the ending stage of his prime.
Kyrie hasn't hit his peak yet while Paul is on the downward side of his peak. CP3 is as good as he will ever be, not Kyrie. The Cavs need to find a way to unload Love. Love was a automatic double/double his entire career in MN, now the guy Is damn near a double/single in the Finals. Washed up.
Could draw similar comparisons with Love/Melo. Cavs do need to trade Love, but Melo isnt the person taking them to the promised land.
james is a facilitator especially at this point in his career. irving is a better fit than paul who looks to create shots for others but also has the ball a lot. he would get james some easy dunks but also alot of open threes or mid range shots which james can basically get at any point in time on his own at this point.
Melo is the type of scorer the Cavs need right now. Melo is no worse defensively than Love and light years better offensively. No way in hell Melo disappears offensively in his first NBA Finals appearance.
Anyone been checking out the Internet roasting that has been going on over Steph Currys new under armor shoes?
Exactly. Melo tends to stop the ball when it gets to him but playing opposite Lebron he'd get the ball in his favorite spots and would shoot a better percentage. That's why he was so good on the Olympic and World Championship teams.

Tom Haberstroh @tomhaberstroh Isolations in this series (thanks @haralabob): Kyrie Irving - 18 points on 31 isos (0.58/iso) Steph Curry - 24 points on 19 isos (1.26/iso)
cleveland was just standing around the entire second half. whether irving had the ball or james or whoever. those numbers are some irrelevant nonsense. Golden state's offense moves without the ball. curry almost always had to get a pick at the top of the key when irving was on him. irving had some dumb plays where he took bad shots, but a lot of his going 1 on 1 was due to the rest of these bums standing around. curry rarely needs to do that unless A) the shot clock is running down or B) he has just hit a bunch of shots in a row and is in a shooting groove. bottom line here is irving has less around him than curry and has still managed to cancel him out for the most part. if you put them on the opposite team do you really think cleveland is winning this series?
Yes? Very easily. Probably in 5 games Replace a top 2 player in the league with a guy outside the top 100 and see if you get different results. Uh yeah... probably. EDIT: I should note however Curry is clearly playing injured and is probably closer to a top 50 player at the moment
If You're HONESTELY Labeling Kyrie Irving as a Guy "Outside of the Top 100", You CLEARLY Have No Fucking Clue What You're Watching... Wow!!! REED
