I agree he's like a young Garnett and NO is just like that Minnesota team Garnett was on. They're going to waste Davis' youth and their own flexibility if they keep him. If they do move him I would almost think they have to keep Boogie just to reach the cap floor.

Some may disagree and think having one of the best players is the way to go but I feel differently about it. I could see if it was like with Westbrook where you at least have a decent team around him. But other than Boogie NO is a wasteland of talent and Davis is the one thing they could use to build a respectable team, ala the 76ers.

Hell Davis is an exciting talented guy, but I'm not watching him play on that shit team of his. At the same time I intend to catch the 76ers next season.

Sources: Charlotte is sending Miles Plumlee, Marco Belenelli and 41st pick to Atlanta for Dwight Howard and 31st pick.

    Per Woj

D12 traded for magic beans and a fart sandwich. So much for going home.

I agree with Stephen A Smith that he's trying to get himself fired so he can walk away AND get paid.

I wonder what the Butler move is gonna do to Wiggins' ego.

Remember, Wiggins was originally suppose to be the next Kobe and the Wolves savior.

Now he has to accept a role as a the THIRD option behind KAT and Butler.

Wiggins never struck me as a delicate flower. I think he'll be fine. Hopefully Butler teaches that team to play a little defense.

wiggins should get over it. the wolves were ahead in a lot of games only to blow the lead. perhaps butler will help them to close out some of those games. the main thing that will improve the team is when towns becomes a force defensively, protecting the rim and the defensive glass. if they had gotten paul george instead of butler Id be excited, but georges contract being up was obviously a factor there

Don't forget, Wiggins is only 22.

Perimeter players like him don't have their peak years until like 24-29.

I don't think there's any shot in Hell of Wiggins ever being Kobe... he's just not as talented as Kobe, but in his prime he could become better than Butler is now.

Anyway, I don't expect the Wolves to contend with the top tier teams in the West yet, but with the KAT, Butler, Wiggins big three, there's NO excuse for not making the playoffs.

I'm liking Paul George less and less these days. First as a player and lately as a person. First there's that bullshit he pulled in the playoffs saying how he needs to be the one to take the last shot even though the teammate who did was wide open.

Lately it's how he came out and screwed over the Pacers franchise by letting the world know he only wants to play for the Lakers. He should have kept that between him and the team because now nobody wants to take on a rental for a year and it limits any good offers the Pacers could have gotten for him. I guess in a way George is preventing the Pacers from screwing over a team by releasing this, but I think it's more selfish than that, he probably just doesn't want the team he'd be going to to lose any assets by making an unnecessary trade for him now when they can just wait a year for him to be a free agent...To be honest that one is kind of understandable.

However it recently just came out that for months George and the Pacers have been talking and collaborating on future plans and moves and George never once said anything about wanting to leave. So when the owner of the Pacers said he heard about PG's plans to leave the franchise through the media, it was like a punch to the gut. Way to man up there Paul George and tell the team to their face how you feel...To be honest that one is kind of understandable too. I mean how often do teams tell a player they're not going to trade them only to do it and the player finds out when he or somebody from his camp here's it on ESPN?

I still don't like Paul George though, lately he's just been coming off as a dick and all he does on offense is shoot jumpers.

John Paxson was asked multiple times on why he gave away the 2nd round pick to the Dubs and kept refusing to answer the question

Chicago has aspirations to be the next 76'ers. They don't want any excuse for not cratering the next couple of years at least.

They could have done that much earlier, but decided they needed to win the financial championship (I believe they are the top 3 in annual profits) so they kept the treadmill going.

I know. I thought it was the dumbest move of the season when the Knicks picked up Phil's option. I knew they would be firing him before that contract was done.

    CP3 to the Rockets.

I expect a Paul/Harden pairing to be successful in the regular season, but in the playoffs it'll be fun to see them BOTH disappear in big games.
