For the 2nd Time, YES, REED Read the Article...

FACT is, Durant Shot 19.2 Times PER Game Last Season...Sooooo, REED'll Ask Again, Are YOU Naïve Enough to Believe Durant is Gonna Be COOL w/"8-9 Shots, or 10-12 Shots in a Game", Here or There???...If/When it Gets to the Point that Durant's 28.2ppg Dwindles to LOW 20's, he Won't Be Happy...

Another FACT is, Steph Averaged 30.2ppg on 20.2 Attempts...Klay Thompson 22.1ppg on 17.3 Attempts...And Don't Think for a Second Draymond Green is Trying to Watch his Output Dip BELOW the 14ppg and 10 Attempts he Got Last Year...

Something WILL Have to Give Here, DRASTICALLY...And Don't Expect it to Be Peace and Kumbaya in the Locker Room, When it Inevitable Does...

Golden State WILL NOT Win the Title Next Season...Highlight that Shit, Underline it, Put it in 4 Inch Headlines... "GOLDEN STATE WILL NOT WIN THE NBA TITLE IN 2016-2017"....

More Importantly than the Attempts Themselves, is WHERE These Guys Prefer to Shoot From...The Perimeter...

There's NOfuckingWAY a Collection of PERIMETER Guys Can Maintain their Attempts/Scoring Averages While ALL Shooting from the Fucking Perimeter...

    You'll See...

More Like WISHFUL THINKING on Your Part....Guys Have to Play ROLES, DEFER To Each Other and Make Alterations to their Games...

For the 500th Time, THE LAST Thing Golden State Needs is a 6'11 Perimeter Player...The Onus is On Durant to Expand His Game in a Way he was UNWILLING To in OKC...

Durant will have more space to operate on golden state. You're gonna claim he is driving to the basket more often when in fact he simply has more lanes playing alongside guys who can actually make shots to spread the court

It won't matter, playing with better talent around you means you need to be more willing to make the extra pass rather than jacking up a contested shot. This isn't problematic for great players. You act like durant is going to look off an open klay thompson in the corner for an automatic 3 points to instead fire up a shot of his own with a guy closing out on him simply to pad his scoring average. How selfish do you think he is? It ain't like it's the same thing as when roberson is in the corner

All 3 of these guys will average over 20 a game.

REED, regardless of what you think about Durant co-existing with Klay, Steph and Draymond....or how many PPG he might gain or lose.........do you think his already very respectable overall shooting efficiency will go up or down on this Golden State team?

Also, do you think it's possible he gets back to the point he was just a couple season ago when he was leading the league in free throw attempts? Which pretty much means he'll be driving the lane much more then he was the last couple seasons.

The court is going to look tiny. All of them stepping over each other's positions. It's going be like playing NBA 2k for the first time.

When steph starts calling for the ball and durant starts shooting at will, that shit will only be tolerated for a season or 2. Then you gonna have klay get jealous and he is going to want to be the start of the night and basically take every shot. Curry has accepted this part of Klay's personality, but Durant wont be having any of it.

    You're Obviously NOT Paying Attention...

Durant Averaged 28+ Last Year and Steph Averaged just OVER 30...If You Think EITHER of Them will Be Content Putting Up Low to Mid 20's, You're Snorting Coke w/Your Bearded Hero Harden...For All 3 to Average Over 20 a Game, there WOULDN'T Be Room for a 28pt Guy, Nevermind a 30pt Guy Also...

Westbrook Got ALL the Blame, yet Durant WILLINGLY Partook in the "Give Me the Rock and Get the Fuck OUT of the Way" Style of Play of OKC...There's NO Shred of Evidence he'll Be Fine Having the Ball in his Hands Even LESS than he Did in OKC...Also, You Make it Seem as if Golden State Plays Free Flowing, Pass and Cut Ball, Exclusively...Sorry, but Steph DIDN'T Average 30 as Such...Several Times EVERY Game, Steph Would ISO btwn the Top of the Key/Half Court, Put On a Dribbling Exhibition and Heave 3's from 30+ Feet...And he will Undoubtedly CONTINUE to Do this w/Durant on his Team...

It's Steph Curry's Team, Dude...For this to Work, Kevin Durant WILL have to Fit In with THEM, to the Detriment of His OWN Numbers, Attempts and Preferred Spots to Operate from, on the Court...Wouldn't Surprise REED @ All if This Failed MISERABLY, and Durant Opted Out, Only to Return to OKC, Since Westbrook Reupped for 3 Years...

If everybody on Golden State stays healthy, every one of the big guys will average a few less points, play a few less minutes and get plenty of rest. Kerr will start to treat them like Popovich treats the Spurs.

Bench will get plenty of playing time and there will be large stretches of games where the Big 3 (Klay, Durant and Curry) will not be on the floor together.

Golden State WILL NOT win 73 games next year. Been there done that. Kerr will treat the regular season differently this year.

Have a feeling Curry will miss a lot of games though. Livingston could be a very important dude next season.

Might have Been 100, Who Knows...

SOME Analytics Based Points ARE Valid...There IS a Place for them in Sports, but to SOLELY Base Your Opinions of Players/Teams on Them Makes Little Sense to REED...If the EYEBALL Test Weren't Still THE Truest Metric, NBA Sidlelines Would Consist of COMPUTERS Instead of Coaches...

Sure, Durant's Efficiency will Increase...REED Even Thinks the Team will Win a LOT of Games, Be the FAVORITES to Win the 2017 Championship, Flirt w/70 Wins, etc...

But Championships are about ROLES...The Star Studded Miami Heat DIDN'T Win Until Dwyane Wade GAVE Bron the Keys to the Team...Klay Thompson Accepted Steph as the Alpha, Knowing he's YOUNGER, His Time will Come AND he was the Undisputed 2nd Banana on the Team...That's Now in Jeopardy, Which is Why REED Posted Klay's Recent Comments....

Guys Can TALK about "Hit the Open Man, Whoever's OPEN Will Shoot", "Free Flowing, Pass N' Cut Offense", etc., til They're Blue in the Face, but @ CRUNCH Time of BIG NBA Games, it Typically Boils Down to 1 Particular Player CONTROLLING the Ball and the Ensuing DECISIONS he Makes...Durant Had PLENTY of Such Moments in OKC and w/Alarming REGULARITY, he Settled for Ill Advised 3's from Around the Top of the Key...Even when Single Covered...

Instead of Driving to the Rim, Here and There, Why Not START Some of Your Offensive Possessions Near the Rim???...You're Fucking 6'11...Even Dirk Nowitzki, Who was Pretty Fucking Efficient Himself, EVENTUALLY Developed a Semblance of a Post Game...Until Kevin Durant Does THAT, He Ain't Winning a Championship...

It's an OBVIOUS Element that Needs to Be Added to His Overall Game, yet People Seem AFRAID to Broach that Subject...

    westbrook re-upped immediately

who thinks that would have been the case had durant stayed?

durant can operate from the mid post, if need be, depending on who is covering him and how the defense is structured. if he does so at golden state you can believe he'll have a lot more room in that area to work.

come crunch time durant or perhaps curry are the guys to initiate things. thompson is not a guy who can create his own shot well aside from if he has a smaller man on him in the post.

Pop tells the team what to do. He runs that shit. No matter if you are a star or not. Kerr aint got it like that. I was listening to Green all season talk over kerr and basically do whatever he wanted. Warriors will never be run like the spurs.

Westbrook Reupped Immediately as a Silent "Bye Felicia" Gesture to Durant...Bear in Mind, the Salary Cap INCREASES Next Summer...Westbrook Could've EASILY Waited til THEN to Resign, yet he CHOSE to Do So Less than a Month After Durant Bolted...And he BLATANTLY Kept Using the Word "Loyalty" in his Presser...

If Durant is Capable Of/Willing to Operate from the Mid Post, Why HASN'T he Done So???...REED"ll Never Forget the OKC-Clipper Series from a Few Seasons Ago...Knowing Durant had NO Interest in Playing In or Near the Paint, the Clippers Put Chris Paul's 6ft (if, If, IF THAT) Ass On Him...And it WORKED the Majority of the Time...Yet Even Then, w/a Height Advantage of a Fucking FOOT, Durant Persisted in Chucking Up 3's....

As an Overall Facilitator and Decision Maker, Draymond Green is a BETTER Option to Have the Rock in his Hands, During Crunch Time, Than Durant...
