That SOUNDS Good, but the Fact of the Matter is Kyrie Got Hurt in Game 1...It's Not as if Cleveland Had a Series Lead and THEN Kyrie Got Hurt...

GS Won a Title w/Out Durant, Period...Then Won 73 Games and Came a Draymond Green Suspension Away from ARGUABLY Repeating as Champions...Again, w/Out Durant...

GS for Sure Beats Toronto, With or Without KD, but REED Will Agree it's in GS' Best Interests to Have KD if They Meet Up w/Milwaukee...

First of all, you could have taken the worst player in the league and added them to GState and they still would have won the title, so to say they somehow wouldn’t have won with Westbrook is either straight hate or ignorance.

To answer your question, Westbrook would have absolutely thrived on GState. With Curry and Thompson opening up the lane for Westbrook’s drives and him kicking out to them when necessary they still would have dominated the league. They possibly would have even been more fun with him on the team instead of Durant.

The Dubs would definitely beat the shitty ass Raptors without KD. Not even a question. Leonard ALONE cannot beat the Warriors. It'd be a massacre.

Bucks, I dunno. It's gonna be a close series, but the Dubs are the favorites based on EXTENSIVE championship experience.

I see your point "HOWEVER" I disagree. Criticism should flow both ways.

Yes they won without him. They also had an historic collapse without him. Do you believe they'd be on the verge of a 3-peat without him?

Also, Draymond made the first call...the four players made the Hampton's trip after an historic loss following a historic season. Again, not sure how they get a pass for that.

While Durant deservedly gets the "if I can't beat 'em, join 'em", Klay and Steph certainly earned "Let's go get him because we lost" rap.

Like REED Told Neil, GS was ARGUABLY a Draymond Green Suspension Away from Repeating as Champs w/Out Durant, Anyways...And Completing the 73-9 Season in Style...Losing in Game 7 by Single Digit Points, No Less...They were Right There WITHOUT DURANT...

Its Not Like They Backed Into the Playoffs and Got Swept in the 2nd Round or Something, They Came AS Close as a Team EVER Has to Winning a Championship w/Out Actually Closing the Deal...That Can't Just Be Ignored...

w/That Said, There's No Way to Rule Out the Possibility of GS 3-Peating, Since They were a Stone's Throw from Repeating...

Put it This Way, Did Anybody Diminish DWade When Bron Joined the Heat, Took Over the Team and Led Them to 4 Straight Finals (2 Titles)? No, Because Wade had ALREADY Won a Ring w/Out Bron...As it Pertains to GS, Steph and Klay are DWade...

That's Why They Don't Take the "Heat" (No Pun Intended) Bron Did for Going to Souf' Beach or KD Did for Joining GS...

Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Down, Neil KNOWS GS Beats Toronto w/Out KD, His LUST for KD Just Won't Allow Neil to ADMIT the Obvious...

Aside from Kawhi, No Other Raptor Can Even Produce Back to Back GOOD Games, Nevermind Muster Enough to BEAT GS 4 Times in 7 Games...Ain't Happening, With or Without KD...

i dont know that at all. if toronto beats milwaukee they will be pretty exhausted and that is the only thing that bothers me about the matchup. I have thought all season that toronto defensively could win the east and compete with golden state WITH durant.

If Fatigue is the ONLY Concern You Have, Regarding Toronto Beating a KD-Less GS Squad, it's Obvious You HAVEN'T Been Watching their Games...

    Pascal Siakam's Last 5:

    21,6 and 3
    11,11 and 2
    15,6 and 3
    8,1 and 2
    25,11 and 1

    Kyle Lowry's Last 5:

    13,5 and 6
    10,6 and 6
    30,8 and 2
    15,4 and 4
    11,4 and 5

    Marc Gasol's Last 5:

    7,3 and 4
    7 and 11
    6,12 and 5
    2,5 and 1
    16,12 and 7

Serge Ibaka's Scored in SINGLE DIGITS 4 of the Last 5 Games and Your Boy SOMETIMEY Danny Green Has 5 SINGLE DIGIT Games in His Last 5...As REED Stated in his Previous Post, Kawhi ISN'T Getting Enough Help on a NIGHTLY Basis for Toronto to Compete w/the KD-Less Warriors in the Finals...

Every Other Game Ain't Gonna Cut It if You're NEEDING to Beat Them 4 Out of 7...

Raptors Have Averaged 102.8pts a Game Over Their Last 5...GS is Averaging 115.4 Over the Same Stretch...Kawhi's Good Enough to Win a Game by HIMSELF, Even Over GS, but Aside from That, GS Wins the Series in 5...

    Without KD...

I think in my mind Durant comes back for like game 2 and weasels his way into another Finals MVP, justifying a minimum 1+1 extension

VanVleet will probably revert back to midget status game 5 so it's up to Lowry to step-up

Well Stotts earned himself a new multi year deal with Portland. Can’t say I disagree with that decision while I sit here hoping Billy Donovan will quit.

Meanwhile Norman Powell is making himself some serious money in this series. I don’t know if his contract is up after this season but it’d be perfect for him if it is. Lots of teams could use a guard with his shooting ability and skill set and proving it so early in his career when it’s a rare commodity only helps him.

Game 4 of Bucks-Raptors was the BEST Thing to Happen to KD Since His Calf Injury...

He's Now Got More Recovery Time to Come Back and Snatch the Finals MVP from Under Steph...

    Again...

REED's Heard the Surname "Van Fleet", but Never "Van Vleet"...

No Doubt, a Typographical Error was Made Somewhere In His Family's Lineage and They Just Rolled w/It...

Toronto has more guys who can create their own shot or shots for others than milwaukee. Powell, Van Vleet, Siakam and even lowry can all do so when they are playing at their best. milwaukee doesnt really have anyone aside from middleton and maybe hill who can. bledsoe proving to be a no show as i suspected. we will see if he does anything in the remaining 2 or 3 games. toronto really must be kicking themselves over blowing game 1

This is why I never bought Milwaukee beating the Dubs, even without Durant because the 2nd scoring option is the homeless man's Klay Thompson Khris Middleton. The offense just can't all be Giannis A.

The Finals was always a set date of May 30. It would have been better if Portland forced a 7 game series in order for Durant to justify that the Dubs needed him after all

Some people think Durant has a slight calf tear.

Could you imagine if Durant came back and they lost the finals? He’d take all the blame from GState fans if that happened.

The only way Giannis wins a title in Milwaukee is if he decides to Dirk himself and play for cheap. Otherwise, he can have a bunch of 60-win seasons that mean squat because they can't afford a 2nd star. Routinely bounced before NBA Finals, like LBJ in Cleveland, and then go to a bigger market and win a title there.
