I knew Boston would beat the Wiz and that Kemba would have a good game and Russ wouldn’t. I bet Indiana’s going to beat them too even though the Wiz dominated them in the regular season. Russ looked either shook or injured in that game and judging the way he made that tip dunk I lean towards shook as I think he did a similar disappearing act in last season’s playoffs. Either way, if he can’t play better they don’t stand a chance and I think they lose regardless, especially now that Brogden is back.

i thought the bullets would beat a jaylen brown-less boston squad. although beal is way less than 100%

indiana is missing levert and turner (as well as warren but he been gone all year)

big shot by james to avoid a second round matchup with the clippers, after a rough series vs utah. though phx could give them equally as tough a series. could see that goin 6

    Playoff Predictions

    EASTERN CONFERENCE - 1st Round

Sixers vs. Wizards - Not an OPTIMAL 1st Round Matchup for Philly, Necessarily, But the Wiz Have NO Answers for Embiid or Simmons...Sixers in 6...

Nets vs. Celtics - Even w/Jalen Brown, Boston Would Be a SIZABLE Underdog...Brooklyn in 5...

    Bucks vs. Heat
    - Miami's Had a WEIRD Ass Season - Was Last Year a Fluke Or Was THIS Year a Fluke???...They Don't Quite Have the DEPTH They Did Last Year and Milwaukee's Added Jrue Holiday...Miami Whupped Milwaukee in 5 in the Bubble Playoffs; REED Likes Miami In 7 This Year...

Knicks vs. Hawks - Tom Thibodeaux is the No Brainer Coach of the Year in REED's Opinion...Wherever He's @, Thib's Teams DEFEND...Thib's Decision to Not Only Make Julius Randle the Focal Point of the Offense, But Allow Him to Do the Bulk of the BALLHANDLING Is WHY They're in the Playoffs...The Knicks are Still a VETERAN Piece or 2 Away from Being Championship Caliber, but They'll Beat Atlanta in 6 and Advance to the 2nd Round...

    WESTERN CONFERENCE - 1st Round

Jazz vs. Grizzlies - The Combination of Ja Morant's Leadership and Donovan Mitchell NOT Being 100% Is Enough to Drag This Series Out a Bit...Utah in 6...

Suns vs. Lakers - REED's Smelling a 5 Game Series, But Will Say Lakers in 6 to Be SAFE...

Nuggets vs. Blazers - The Addition of Aaron Gordon Had Denver Looking Like a Title Contender; Then Jamal Murray was Lost for the Season...REED Thinks Portland Has a Good Blend of Perimeter Scoring and SIZE to Not Only Trouble, But BEAT Denver...As Good as Jokic Is, He's NOT Quite as Effective When You Can FOCUS On Him in a Series Setting and Throw Big Bodies @ Him...

Clippers vs. Mavericks - If Kristaps Porzingis Plays @ Least 5 Games This Series, the Mavs WILL Win...But @ This Point, Who Knows if KP Will Even Play In CONSECUTIVE Playoff Games (He Played ZERO Back to Backs During the Regular Season)???...Luka was the BEST Player on the Floor in Last Year's Series and REED Doesn't Expect That to Change...The Mavs are Simply a BAD Matchup for the Clippers...But Again, Their Win-Loss Chances Rest SOLELY In the Hands (Or in This Case the Legs, Knees, Ankles and Feet) of Porzingis...

If there’s one thing past playoffs have taught me is, don’t read too much in the first game of a series. At least as far as who won it or not. In the case of Brooklyn versus the Celtics however I think it’s safe to call that one a sweep in the making. Also when it comes to Brooklyn there’s no other team I’m rooting harder against than them.

In THEORY This is True, But It's Not Absolute...

Considering the MENTAL MIDGETry of the Clippers, Game 2 is Already a MUST-WIN for Them...Covid Protocol's are More LAX in Texas, So There'll Be a PACKED HOUSE at AAC for Games 3 & 4...Clippers Can't Afford to Go Into That Environment DOWN 0-2....

Also, REED Thinks Game 1 Is of the UTMOST Importance to Phoenix, Facing the Lakers Later Today...

The Franchise Hasn't Made the Playoffs in a DECADE & They've Drawn the Defending Champions...A Small Part of the Suns Is Just HAPPY to Be There and EXPECTING to Lose This Series - Losing Game 1 Will CONFIRM Those Doubts and Lay the Foundation for a Gentleman's Sweep, in REED's Opinion...

The only West team to hold homecourt was the 2nd seed underdog Phoenix Suns

I remember how everyone said Westbrook’s game wouldn’t age well and I think we’re already there. Having never developed a reliable jump shot has become a problem as his athleticism has waned enough that you’re lucky to get a couple explosive rim attacks a game from him and his in game dunks have become basically extinct. Russ still puts up very good numbers and his ability to run a team and setup teammates still makes him valuable in the regular season but on this Wizards team it’s not enough as his offense has fallen off pretty big to be a number two. With defenses able to key in on him it’s no wonder he’s been pretty bad in the playoffs lately and I’d be shocked if he has even one good game in this series.

When I was watching the Knicks game and Julius Randle first got the ball, my first thought was that he’s going to have a terrible game today. Then he immediately drilled his first three point shot and for a second I thought I was wrong.

By the way have you guys been up on the Kwame Brown going ham on people the last several days? Stephen A Smith, Stephen Jackson, Matt Barnes, Charlamagne The God and Jemel Hill have all been victims of his many verbal assaults. If you missed it just Google Kwame Brown.

As the Saying Goes, the Mavs Are Living "RENT FREE in the HEADS" of the Clippers...

The Mavs WON'T Sweep, but the Only Way They LOSE the Series @ This Point is an INJURY to Luka or KP...The Clippers Actually TANKED, to Get the Mavs in the 1st Round Too!...

The Clippers and especially Paul George need to turn their phones off, stay away from social and sports media until the next game. The Clippers haven’t so much choked as Dallas is just playing incredible right now and that’s despite leaving about 10 or more free throw points in limbo. The Clippers had big mistakes too with all the dropped and off target passes and missed easy shots at the rim. Dallas just seems to be consistently better on defense and offense than the Clippers not to mention how much they’re killing it from three. The question is can they maintain it because like the announcers said, Dallas went up 2-0 on the Lakers last season and we know how that turned out.

I think Ty Lue is making a mistake not playing Ibaka. He isn’t playing great but neither is Morris and I think Ibaka over Morris at least provides you with some shot blocking.

I watched pretty much all the game ones but for the game twos I started watching Nets-Celts. After about 15 mins I knew it would be a blowout and I fast forwarded it to make sure before turning it off. I did the same thing yesterday with the Bucks-Heat, but that blowout became obvious in only about 5 minutes lol. Similarly I couldn’t get into the Lakers-Phoenix game 2 because I could tell the Lakers would win and I find them detestable and hard to watch so I turned it off too. The Dallas-Clippers game was so damn entertaining however that it more than saved the evening for me.

I don’t think I’ll even bother downloading anymore of the Nets-Celtics or Bucks-Heat series as I think those are sweeps in the making. 76ers-Wizards is a sweep too but at least the matchup makes for an entertaining brand of basketball not to mention the Wiz is kind of my team thanks to Westbrook, so I’ll keep watching that as long as it doesn’t get too ugly.

They Need Rondo Out There More...

When the Clippers are Inevitably Clueless, Unnerved and Searching for Answers in the 4th Qtr of TIGHT Games, Rondo CAN Help...Rondo RELIEVES Pressure In Those Situations, MENTALLY, If Not Always STATISTICALLY.

Rondo was VITAL to the Lakers Championship Run in the Bubble...Surprising the Clippers TRADED For Him, Yet Underutilize Rondo As They Do...

yea more rondo and less beverley / reggie williams.

as for these fans, i dont get it. would love to see these pussies spit on, or dump popcorn on a pro athlete without anyone in between them in the street.

Ive been known to heckle guys from the stands, but never shit about their kids or throwing shit.

It's Been a GLARING Weakness in the Clippers Defense...

The Mavs Patiently Move the Ball Around Until Zubac is Inevitably Switched Onto Luka...And Zubac Gets Scored On...Everytime...Serge Ibaka CAN'T Guard Luka Either, But He'd Do BETTER Than Zubac...
