pretty sure leonard is done. even if he's back at this point you'd have to favor phoenix

nice set williams ran, but you never see it because teams gotta be completely inept defensively to give up a back pick for a dunk when a lob is the only option with .7 on the clock

    Fixed that post for you.

Dallas hires Kidd as their coach. Talk about going backwards. Not only is Kidd an overrated coach who’s a lot worse than Carlisle, but he’s probably the most dysfunctional choice they could have made for a franchise already knee deep in dysfunction.

carlisle got hired immediately as i suspected. kidd didnt want the portland job, but he took a similar one in dallas. i guess he has more faith in cuban to acquire talent around doncic than the blazers front office. dallas also hired some nike guy to run the front office.

young getting roughed up tonight. he has about 10 turnovers in the first half and the hawks are getting blowed out. holiday out playing young.

if you want to claim young had proven himself worthy of being traded for doncic then you may as well also say the suns were justified in taking ayton since theyre still playing and most likely will get to the finals.

I definitely believe Young has proven himself worthy of being traded for Doncic. Look at the intangibles he has shown and he’s still a baby. I personally don’t think the same can be said of Ayton though, because he’s basically a role player. Of course if the Suns win a championship then obviously nobody can bring up the Doncic miss until he at least 1-ups Ayton.

To be honest I probably would have passed up on Doncic too. I never saw him play overseas but I heard he was slow footed and I thought playing in a lesser league made him look better. The icing on my thinking though, was the supremely underwhelming career of Ricky Rubio after all the hype he came into the league with. I believe that was a big reason why I and some NBA GM’s doubted the ceiling of Doncic and I believe based on that, that they shouldn’t get killed over their decision.

They should call him Push-off P. Nobody does the forearm push off as consistently as he does. Not even Harden.

Rumor: Kawhi Leonard unhappy with Clippers medical staff (nbcsports.com)

Ka-WEIRD Leonard Strikes Again...Mr. LOAD MANAGEMENT Himself...Unhappy w/the Spurs Medical Staff, Now Unhappy w/the Clippers Medical Staff:Jest:...

Elimination Game Tonight, Kawhi Will 1nce Again DNP, Yet NO ONE Will Come Out and Admit the OBVIOUS...Kawhi's ACL is Torn...

Perhaps This is Manufactured, So it Doesn't Look as Bad If/When Kawhi Eventually DESERTS His Home City, But it's Damn Sure Not a GOOD Look for Him Either...

As REED Has Said Many Times, QUIET Shouldn't Be Confused w/HUMILITY Because Kawhi's Quiet Ass is ARROGANT AF...

Doesn't Kawhi have a one month ACL sprain injury, so in theory if CP3 somehow blows another 3-1 lead, he would comeback game 3 of the NBA Finals, I think in my mind

i dont know what the league policy is on disclosing injuries. it doesnt seem as strict as the NFL. harden was ruled OUT, then when irving got injured he was upgraded to questionable, then played the rest of that series.

if it benefits them to keep the suns in the dark as far as whether he may or may not play and they have to spend extra practice time preparing for him then it doesnt bother me any. i figured he was out and not coming back, and havent given it any thought past that.

for all his load management during the regular season, come playoffs leonard has showed up and been the best player on the court more times than not. hasnt missed any post season games with toronto or the clippers that i can recall.

Speaking of ACL injuries, Zubic has an MCL strain and will be out today and might not get an opportunity to come back.

I noticed him get injured in the last game but thought he bumped knees. I rewound it and realized it was a noncontact injury. The way he limped afterwards I thought he had torn something and was done but then he kept playing so I thought he was fine. Apparently not though and the Clippers are now done as Ayton will probably start really going off.

With Zubac down, Ty Lue the master of adjustments, goes into midget ball and Phoenix has no idea how to counter

huge game for PG and an incredible stat line, but when phoenix cut into the lead in the 4th it was MR OCTOBER who came through with 8 big points to put the game out of reach.

Wonder if Monty keeps -22 Ayton in the game for 30+ minutes next game or decides to make an adjustment and also go into midget ball himself
