that looked like a serious injury regardless of what the doctors say. even if he plays i highly doubt he'll be moving the same.

lets say Antetokounmpo doesnt play or suits up and is clearly not close to 100%.

phoenix will have beaten a lakers squad without davis for most of the series, and a far less than 100% james. then they beat a murray-less nuggets. then a leonard/ibaka-less clippers.

thats a pretty easy fuckin path to a chip. how far back must you go to find a weaker nba champion than them if they win it? i cant think of one as long as Ive been watching the NBA

    The 1986-87 Lakers played:

    #8 Nuggets with a 37-45 record
    #5 Dubs with a 42-40 record
#7 Sonics in the WCF with a 39-43 record

The only great team they played was the defending champion Celts in the finals who were 59-23

86-87 was johnson hitting the baby hook? that laker team would crush phoenix

He's just built differently. Most professional athletes wouldn't compete within a week of an injury like that

i see your angle reed. youre mad davis got hurt and couldnt help james get another ring!

youre never gonna catch me vouching for davis' durability but there are very few guys in the league who'd play a week later after what happened to Antetokounmpo

im curious what happens with leonard. if he opts out what teams have the cap space to pay him a max deal and where might he rather go than stay in LA?

Im thinkin dallas is a fit

    There Is No Angle...

REED's AD Thoughts are Based on Dude's Injury Riddled Track Record Stemming Back to New Orleans...Becoming a Laker Only MAGNIFIED the Obvious; Dude is SOFT AF...Kristaps Porzingis Ain't the Most "Durable" Motherfucker in the League Either, Yet He Isn't Considered SOFT...

    It's Not Even 1 Thing w/AD, It's EVERYTHING...

The Number of Times He's Knocked to the Floor EVERY Game (By SMALLER Players @ Times), the Numerous PAINED Expressions He Shows, the Amount of Time it Takes AD to "Gather Himself" After the Slightest of Bumps...The Number of Games He Misses on a YEARLY Basis, etc...It's as If the Motherfucker Needs to Play in BUBBLE WRAP to Protect His Brittle Ass...

AD's the Most UNRELIABLE "Superstar" Player in the League, Easily...

As for Kawhi, REED Would Expect the Clippers to Finally Come Clean on the SEVERITY of the Knee Injury, If He's Looking to BOUNCE After Opting Out...Anyone Who Signs Kawhi Would Be LUCKY to Have Him Suited Up by the 2022 Playoffs...

That Said, Yeah, REED's Heard the Mavs Mentioned...The Miami Heat Also and Believe it Or Not, the Lakers...

Throughout the season my interest waxes and wanes. I watched almost the whole playoffs but have not watched any of the finals and I don’t think I will unless it gets to a game 7.

    You Haven't Missed Shit...

Milwaukee's Kept it JUST Close Enough to Prevent REED from Turning the Channel, But @ No Point Has the OUTCOME Been in Doubt in Games 1 or 2...

CP3 was Unreal in Game 1 and Giannis was the Best Player on the Court in Game 2...But to Dog Jones' Point, Giannis is Getting SPORADIC "Help" @ Best, from His Supporting Cast...

Everytime Milwaukee Takes 1 Step FORWARD, Phoenix Responds and Knocks Them 2 Steps BACKWARD...

Jrue Holiday Made an EXCELLENT Defensive Play, a Chase Down Block of an Attempted DUNK By Devin Booker...Yet NO ONE Else from Milwaukee Hustled Back on Defense to Assist, So Ayton (or Someone Else) EASILY Got the Offensive Rebound and SCORED Anyways...

Middleton Has Impressive 4-6 Point SPURTS, But Not Consistently...And Holiday Has Proven to Be One of the WORST Guard Finishers @ the Rim...Missed Like 3 Makeable Lay-Ups in Game 2 and Probably Close to 10 Over the Course of the Entire Playoffs...

Conversely, When CP3 or Book are Silent, They Can Count on Bridges, Payne, Johnson, Ayton or Crowder to Contribute...Every Game, @ Least 2-3 of Those Guys Have Made a FAVORABLE Impact...

It Frequently Looks as if Phoenix is Playing 6 - On - 5 Because They ALWAYS Seem to Have Someone WIDE ASS OPEN for an Uncontested 3...

To Say the Least, Game 3 is MUST-WIN for Milwaukee...

The Western Conference was weak in the 80s, like the East has often been in this century. The Lakers were so far ahead of the rest of the west. The Twin Tower-led Rockets beat them in 86’ and may have been a real threat in future years if they hadn’t imploded.

During an Interview w/the TNT Crew, Holiday was Asked WHY He's Not Consistently Aggressive and Dude Literally COULDN'T Conjure an Answer...

Said His Brothers and Others Tell Him He Needs to Be More Aggressive More Often, Yet Couldn't Put His Finger on WHY He Isn't...

Jrue's a NICE Guy...Consummate Professional, Plays HARD, Gives Consistent EFFORT, But He's NICE @ the End of the Day...

In Terms of Personality, Holiday's More PG-13 Than Westbrook...We Saw What Happened When PG Went OUT of Character in the Bubble Playoffs, But He FOUND an "AGGRESSIVE Nice Guy" Groove In This Year's Playoffs...Holiday Needs to Find That Sweet Spot Also...

Giannis is a NICE Guy, But He's a Fucking DOG Once the Ball is Tipped...Holiday Needs to Play EDGIER, w/More URGENCY, w/Out Violating the CORE Of Who He Is as a Man...If/When He Conquers That Obstacle, He'll FULFILL His Potential...

Why didn't Williams challenge the play where Antetokounmpo committed an obvious lane violation inbounding the ball to Middleton at the end?
