Yeah, it's a 3, but a very tough shot in a game situation. Coach's would start benching guys for poor shot selection if they started trying to pull that bullshit, unless it was in an All-Star game.

I could see an asshole like Harden trying to con a referee into 3 shots by jumping from behind the 3 point line and barreling into a defender 5 feet inside the line while he finger-rolls a shot into the 8th row of the crowd.

Apparently Harden's working on a new shot to con the referees with over the summer. Maybe it's this one.

Cousins and Isaiah Thomas are the biggest losers in the NBA. Both guys missed out on max contracts due to bad timing on injuries. Both guys will probably be out of the league in a year or two.

Boogie's made over $80million in his career and Thomas has made over $30million.

I know it's an antiquated way of thinking about it in this day and age of player salaries, but I wish I could lose that hard.

Thomas probably is the biggest loser though. He's put up 4 seasons of 19+ ppg and 5+ assists per game and he's never made more then 7.2Mill a season.

There's guys playing now who haven't done half that who will make more in the next two years then he's made in his entire career.

When Kevin Love had his first mental health issue and left the arena early IT was reportedly the first one to criticize him about it. What particularly pissed me off about that episode is how everyone on the team agreed with IT and reportedly ganged up on Love about leaving the arena early.

The team should have ripped into Thomas instead, who as a newcomer had absolutely no right to question Love. Love had a big hand in delivering that team a championship, had just went to war with those guys and proven himself and they just forgot all about that and abandoned him for the new guy. Hate to say it but I think it was because Thomas was black like them and Love wasn’t.

Agreed. Iguodala came up big but Curry was still the one doing the most scoring and playmaking. Guys like Iguodala were open because Curry was drawing doubles like 30 feet from the hoop.

Dame is a good rapper, by far the best of the NBA rappers.

I remember him going on Sway and rapping over the Dead Presidents beat. I think Sway was kind of expecting another “athlete unsuccessfully tries to rap”and then looked pretty impressed

Zion with another injury. Dude is obviously injury prone and I’d bet money that at some point this season he’s going to get a season ending injury. That also means betting on someone else to get rookie of the year shouldn’t be too far fetched.

Yeah. Zion just needs to get his pro muscles broken in. He aint use to working this hard. He will be alright mid season. He might need to drop a few pounds. 284 is high.

First of all it’s not hate. I’m from Louisiana and now that I actually like their team I plan to start watching and rooting for them. I’ve also been looking forward to watching Zion so if anything it’s fearful dread that we won’t get to see the guy on a consistent basis due to recurring injuries. After he was drafted I had a feeling he would have the Ben Simmons/Blake Griffin thing were he gets injured and we have to wait a full extra season to see him.

Also he’s not sitting out a preseason game, word is he’s going to miss weeks as well as the start of the season.

I find it funny that Houston has been getting some buzz as a title favorite even though they have a squad with unproven chemistry as well as a team who’s main stars are both known for being less than stellar in the playoffs. If Harden wants to win a championship he needs to dial down the MVP push this season and coast a bit so he’ll have some ammo for the playoffs.

As it stands my favorite for the title is the Clippers, barring injury of course. Khawi is a proven winner and if he brings a championship to LA he’ll have made history by being the first player to lead three teams to a championship as well as bringing two separate teams their first championship ever. That’s some all time great stuff for the record books.
