That’s true. And the worst thing is, he was apparently ripping it up in preseason, but since preseason doesn’t count and I therefore refuse to watch it, I missed all of it. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t regret my decision to not watch because fuck preseason but it was just some wasted great performances and we know have to wait months for his return.

Rockets are going to be a bottom five defensive team. Westbrook and Harden both care less about defense and I can already see a similar mindset seeping into their teammates. I’ve heard about it on a few podcasts. I actually think Bron does have a funny shaped head and might not look so good with a baldy. Also going by the pics, I don’t know if the hair plugs fell out or were just being pushed back out of position while still being connected to his scalp.

 

Bron needs to go bald. If his head is odd shaped, wear the head band on court and hats off the court. That’s a better look than having a head piece fall out on live tv.

 

Been watching the Pelicans. Never felt good about Lonzo’s knees as they just seem so gimpy. It doesn’t help that he had knee surgery the off season and is already wearing a knee brace with a leg sleeve covering it. I’m not sure if it’s the same knee he had surgery on but against the Nets he dunked the ball and came down full force on the sleeved leg and you could see him kind of grimace and had the slightest limp afterwards. He continued playing and I told my missus he was going to injure his other knee because he’s favoring it.

Not much later Lonzo stumbled a couple times as he seemed to come down with an injury to the calf on his good leg and had to leave the game for good.

Supposedly the Pelicans hired the top medical guy from Phoenix that was renowned for having the best medical team in the league. If he’s been letting Ball play on a compromised knee I don’t know what to think.
