REED Thinks Memphis is LEGIT, but Time Will Tell...

Their 18-2 (or Whatever it Is) Record w/Out Ja is an Anomaly...Make No Mistake, They're NOT a Better Team w/Out Him...It Will Impact Ja's MVP Votes, But REED Doesn't Think Ja Gives a Shit Anyways, This EARLY In His Career...

Overall, It's Gonna Boil Down to Ja's HEALTH; He's a SMALL, FRAIL Ass Dude By NBA Standards...If He's Blessed w/Iverson Level DURABILITY, Sure, Memphis Could Potentially Win the West and/or a Championship Some Day...

What's SCARY About Memphis is Their YOUTH; Steven Adams is their OLDEST Player @ 28, if REED's Not Mistaken...But Also Memphis' CHEMISTRY...When You Genuinely LIKE and CARE About Your Teammate, AND Ya'll Are Naturally TALENTED On Top of That, It's a Difficult Combination to Overcome...

Memphis WON'T Win a Championship This Year, But They Just Might UPSET a Team or 2 in the Playoffs...And if Ja is BLESSED w/HEALTH, They'll Be a Playoff Caliber Team for the Next 5-10 Years...

he couldnt throw a stone in the ocean tonight in his NY debut. still nearly won the game on a back to back despite pathetic 3 point shooting and off games from him and durant.

if memphis upsets a team in the playoffs it means they win the west. they got the second best record in the league.

their talent is excellent. morant surrounded by tough, strong, defensive minded guys like bane, brooks, jackson and adams. the bench is deep with guys who can all play. the team is for real and if its kept together and stays healthy should win a title in the next 3 years.

Despite their Record, it's DOUBTFUL Memphis Will Be a Betting Favorite in ANY 2nd or 3rd Round Western Conference Series, Bruh...

Utah Had THE Best Record in the West Last Season, if REED's Not Mistaken...Still Got 'dat Ass Eliminated in Round 2, by a Kawhi-LESS Clipper Squad, No Less...And REED Wasn't the Least Bit Surprised Either...

the west is weak to me. i could see memphis or dallas going to the finals. i was gonna bet memphis last week, the sheet had them at 12-1 but when i tried to wager it had dropped to 9-1 for them to win the west. i still shouldve taken it, im sure its lower now they whipped the nets and bucks without morant.

I could see in my mind Quin Snyder, after blowing a 25-point lead to LA, getting canned if he doesn't advance past the 1st round

Ben Simmons files a grievance against the 76ers in an attempt to recoup his garnished wages. I’m almost always on the side of the player over the owners but definitely not in this case.

At this point you can't expect him to come back and contribute in round 1 or 2 of the playoffs. They could really use him defensively to match up against the bucks franchise guy

Even if he plays it may affect chemistry/rotations . He can come in and play the roll of the kid from pepperdine Edwards who isn't the defender or playmaker simmons is, but that guy makes the occasional 3 from the corner

Ideally simmons woulda been incorporated replacing bruce brown in the starting lineup

If I was the opposing team I would hack-a-Ben to the point they’re changing the rule next season and naming it after him. Dude already showed the whole league he’s a bitch.

Woj says Vogel is canned, yet during the end of season player conference, Bron says he hasn't been told he was canned

simmons shoots over 60%. poor for a perimeter player but its not exactly deandre jordan youre talkin about making less than half. he actually has solid form on his free throws. i wont be shocked if he gets up to 70% in the next year or two

I would. And he’ll never be a good outside shooter because much like the aforementioned Deandre Jordan, Ben Simmons shoots with his non-dominant hand.

Irving just had 34 points and 11 assists on 12-15 FGs. made his first 12 shots. mostly difficult, contested shots. this while fasting for ramadan.

nets matchup with the celtics, without robert williams.

I agree with SAS about Simmons’ injury. In Australia we’d call it shaggers back.

You know how you often hear people say Westbrook being on the Lakers is LBJ’s fault because he pushed for it? I find it funny how Durant and Kyrie never get criticized for basically pushing Jarrett Allen out so they could keep their friend DeAndre Jordan on the team. Allen was way younger and way better while Jordan was borderline unplayable to the point he’s no longer even on the team. I heard Cleveland didn’t even want Allen at first and that Brooklyn insisted that he go in the Levert deal. Now Allen is a huge part of Cleveland’s core and their future and Brooklyn could use a guy like him now.

I heard it came down to Allen or claxton and the nets preferred to keep claxton

Allen being due for a big payday was also a factor

Probably because #11 can't defend a lick which is why Boston opted not to call a timeout on that last possession and #11 did the olé defense on Tatum
