Russ is a Lazy, Convenient Ass TALKING POINT for Most Media Sorts These Days; Who Also PRAISE Ja Morant...11 Years from Now, Ja Will More Than Likely Be Russ....

But No Candy Coating It, Russ is STRUGGLING...PERIOD!!!...But He Also STRUGGLED the 1st Half of His Season's in Houston and Washington...

Russ Will Get it Together, For Sure, But That Still Won't GUARANTEE a Ring...There's a LOT of Good, Championship Caliber Teams in the League Right Now....

I’ll give you the IQ just based on Russ’ lack of defensive focus.

The court vision I think remains to be seen.

The shooting isn’t saying much. I think historically Russ will go down as one of the worst shooters in NBA history. Of course that’s going to have a lot to do with volume.

Despite all that, Ja still has a long way to go before he historically becomes a better player than Russ and there’s no guarantee he actually gets there.

Ja's 33% from 3 for his Career, Russ is 31%...In NO Way is That "Much Better" and Make No Mistake, Ja Will NEVER Be a 40% Guy from 3 Either...Like Russ, He's an Uber-Athletic Driver/Finisher @ the Rim, Period...

Court Vision and IQ???...That's Because Ja's Played PG from the Moment he Touched a Basketball, Whereas Russ NEVER Played the Position Until He Got to the NBA...

Undeniably, There's Faaaaaaaaaaar More SIMILARITIES in the Games of Ja and Russ Than There are Differences...In Fact, Ja OPENLY Refers to Russ as his "Idol Turned Rival", So the Similarities AREN'T a Coincidence...

& Just Like Russ, Ja Will Also Face SIMILAR Criticisms Later in His Career...Same Motherfuckers That APPLAUD His Style of Play Now Will Eventually TURN On Him...11 Years Ago, Russell Westbrook WAS Ja Morant...

True, Ja's SMALLER and LIGHTER in the Ass Than Russ...

The HYPOCRISY of Hoop Fans and Media Never Ceases to Amaze REED Though...Ja's the DARLING of the League and Deservedly So, Yet Russ is the NBA's Favorite SCAPEGOAT, Despite the OBVIOUS Similarities in their Games, and the FACT Ja Tells Anyone Who Will Listen Russ was his Favorite Player Growing Up...

It's Like PRAISING Trae Young While SHITTING on Steph Curry...

The athleticism is definitely comparable. If you think the skill level of the two is comparable all I can say is I completely disagree. It's a fruitless endeavor for me to try to convince you otherwise

It’s Fruitless Because You’re THE LEAST OBJECTIVE Poster Here When it Comes to Westbrook, Which is Funny Considering Just How Much TexMex LOATHES Him…

    But It’s True…

I guess we shall see what morant is able to do as the top player on his team in the next few years. reaching the second round of the playoffs would trump what your guy was able to accomplish.

of the people i know who follow basketball, not a single person doesnt realize morant is already a better player than westbrook ever was. particularly when it comes to shooting (from everywhere on the court), IQ, decision making, efficiency.

Like I said you’re jumping the gun waaayy too soon. Ja has years to go before he can surpass what Westbrook has accomplished. Obviously Ja looks like a sure-fire all time great right now but so did early Derrick Rose, Penny Hardaway and Grant Hill just to name a few.

God willing Ja will go on to have a healthy career but just keep in mind you never know what can happen injury wise.

Westbrook IMO is not a player that will net you winning basketball. I've been saying this for years. Poor True Shooting Percentage with high volume shooting and high turnover rate with crap defense isn't going to get you far, triple double or not.

Well that depends on your definition of winning. Winning a championship as your main player? I agree he’s not doing that and nobody is claiming others . However he’s shown throughout his career the consistency to get you to the playoffs even if he can’t win once he’s there. There are a lot of players out there more respected and getting shit on less than Westbrook who can’t even say that and most of those guys will also likely never win an MVP like Russ has.

Westbrook was good enough to get to the playoffs as the best player on his team. He showed that. Definitely wasn't good enough to win a playoff series as the teams best player

MVP? That's meaningless, only reason he won that was triple doubles. That got old didn't it? No one cares about them anymore and let's be honest, other players could average one for an entire season if that was their main focus.

In addition to the horrible facts I've started before, Russ is dumb. Also selfish. Do you think he'd be ok coming off the bench full time?

The only difference between his "MVP" first round exit season and this one is here lost a little athletism and his shit play is now under a microscope in one of the NBA's biggest market.

He gets booed at home, getting passed around like a dirty whore, hell the Lakers are trying to get rid of him now. There are reasons for all this, I've been saying it for years, L.A. media is just now catching on.

I think Westbrook is a dog as a competitor. Never questioned that aspect of his game. But. I do think triple doubles are easier to get now with all the small ball as far as the rebounding aspect for perimeter guys

Who is going to win the final?

Id like the Bengals to win, I feel sorry for them.

Back in my old primary school in the late 80s I did what I always did and defied convention.

Everybody else had the 49rs so I went with the Bengals

Hope they do it this time.

Yeah, you’re hatred for the guy is coming in so strong it’s actually fogging up my Iphone.

For the record Westbrook didn’t win MVP because of triple doubles. It definitely helped his campaign and let’s be honest, very often the MVP is usually dictated by two things a great story and stellar play where you also have to be one of the top 3-5 players that season. The triple doubles were the story but Westbrook also had a stellar season where he led the league in scoring, fourth quarter scoring and drug a terrible team to the playoffs. I watched that season and there must have been like 5-6 games where he willed them to wins making last second shots that won the game. I’ll also remind you this was the same season LBJ couldn’t drag his better Lakers team to the playoffs. So as much as the haters like to claim Russ’ MVP was based solely on triple doubles the evidence and facts say otherwise.

Triple doubles only got old because Russ got them so often people became desensitized to them. That and the fact Russ is one of the most hated players of all time. He’s the HOAT and many fans, media and sports personalities like Bill Simmons openly criticized him and downplayed triple doubles.

Dumb and selfish? Eh, I’d say it’s more he doesn’t think the game enough and let’s instinct and emotion dictate too many of his decisions.

I think he would definitely have a problem coming off the bench, but pretty much every superstar player takes getting moved from starter to 6th man hard. Some are just better at hiding it than others. Whether he would actually be willing to come off the bench though is another question.

Yeah he’s been passed around but let’s not forget that for a small window, even you were singing his praises when he was on your team. Once he got traded though, it was right back to hateraid for you.

Stop kidding yourself that you’ve been saying Russ sucks for years and now the LA market has proven it. The truth is Russ’ game has fallen off due to his waning athleticism which can be directly proven in him having the lowest numbers of his career.

You saying someone sucked every year since their MVP candidacy doesn’t make you right several seasons later when their game goes in the toilet.

the lakers will go as far as street clothes and james take them. i dont see westbrook having an impact on what happens to them in the postseason either way.

last night davis got his shit pushed in by the same guy who owned him earlier this year.
