The Clippers are now 0-4 since adding Westbrook. I don't understand it. They added such a terrific player. A top 75 player of all time. With his added lock down defense, Curry like shooting, and CP3 like ability to take care of the ball, I puzzled.

 

Westbrook isn’t the cause of their record though he certainly hasn’t helped matters. To be honest he plays so few minutes as does most everyone on the team it seems, that nobody really seems to be able to put a big imprint on the team’s end result. The Clippers look like a bunch of guys just going through the motions. Kawai’s jumpers routinely hit the front of the rim because he has one of the most consistently flat shots of alltime. As he continues to age and lose athleticism it’ll only happen more often due to a lack of lift. PG never raises his level of play or aggression and is about as dependable as James Harden. There’s a lot of big names but not enough minutes to go around. My advice would be have everyone play balls out while on the floor and make substitutions more often then normal to wear out other teams.

Obviously haters are going to force their narrative but there’s more at stake here then just Westbrook. I believe the Clippers need a new voice and direction than whatever Ty Lue is doing.
