I think to say boxing is dying is a stretch. but its hurting, thats for sure. Message boards and so called experts being negative has nothing to do with. When boxing has one undisputed HW champion, people watch. What is hurting boxing, is the same reason UFC is charging hard. One champion at each weight. Less weight classes. That thread about having more belts and weight classes being good for boxing was bullshit. It's good for promoters, and mediocre boxers, but horrible for growing the sport's fan base. UFC's champions are recognizable to the public. Most know who Chuck Lidell is and that he's the champ at LtHW. Most don't have a clue Dawson or Adamek even are. Not to mention the other 3 champs recognized at that weight. We can scream about linear champs all we want. One champ, one weight, 6 different weight classes. This puts Boxing back in front. With one belt, one division, one ranking system, no one can duck, and you have to earn it to be a champion.
Groupies, huh? First of all, you need to know how to box to spar, and I would advise you to just not read my stuff from now on "Double L", huh?:: Maybe you are Lisa Lipps the porn star?

And Cupey, when did you lace em up? You are a big shit talker too, you making this thread is just hilarious and ironic especially coming from you.
I don't know...but every time a boxer losses a fight...HE IS DONE, WAS OVERATED, IS FINISH, blah..blah....fighter can't lose today without their entire career being overated....
Thats no different to any other time period, only now with the net people can bitch about it in a million different places and somewhere out there, plenty of people will agree or argue.
I'm glad we agree on Bob, Jake. What a transition he has made, and you know I don't throw compliments around when it comes to commentating easily. Thick skin for a fighter is tough, you know that bro. Their psyche is based on endurance of pain and sacrifice, and egos come into play. Even well known self-denialists like Joe Louis and Jake LaMotta snapped at the press for various remarks, but you are correct in your analysis.
