Netflix doesn't have shit...

Watched this recently on Netflix. Enjoyed it.

 

Excellent nature show 'trees of life'. Top dolla. Also the attenburgh episode about nature on islands is unreal: the hatching iguanas escaping the huge gangs of sprinting, jumping, climbing snakes was like somethimg from a computer game

 

What was the connection? That they will not film in Georgia anymore? How that affected subscribers after the monthly rate increase? I think it was all about the price hike and the better choices online (free) like Popcorn Time.

 

I loved The Drop, watched it 4 or 5 times to date. I don’t think there’s a weak link in the entire film. It’s a crime drama that I highly recommend for those who think Netflix doesn’t have shit.

Finished watching two days ago the biography series "Luis Miguel' about the life of the Latin idol of the same name. Me & my wife just put it 'for 10 minutes' and got hooked on it. Watched the whole 13 episodes in a binge marathon. It was actually good, even though the actor that portrays Luis Miguel doesn't look even remotely like el Sol. The episode interpolates the past (his beginnings as a child prodigy) with the 'present' (the 90s). His father was a real life son of a bitch who you grow to hate more and more (excellent actor in that role). If you don't mind subtitles (it is in Spanish) I recommend it. Better than it looks at first glimpse. 8/10

3 episodes into it, and I'm probably going to continue hate watching it, because it's funny as fuck if you're in the right frame of mind.

They should have just made a parody of science fiction movies out of this trash heap. It would have worked better with the piss poor writing, directing and acting on display.... but probably wouldn't have been nearly as fun...............or funny.

Watched the 5 part documentary "The Family". It was supposed to make this groundbreaking revelation of this 'secret' 'invisible' Christian organization who practically controls Washington DC. Started intriguing and ended boring. Only if you are a hardcore atheist you will think this is a threat to 'democracy'. Bottom line: The so-called 'Family' are the ones behind the Annual National Prayer Breakfast which all presidents have being attending for decades. So what? 4/10

 

'The family' documentary series about the nominally religious, secretive lobby group/cell/secret society implanted in washington politics. Very engaging, not a little weird.

 

The 2nd Amendment - The Founding Fathers knew exactly what they were talking about when it came to military style assault weapons in civilian hands because they had gatling guns and stuff back then, and you were deemed unpatriotic if you didn't own one and carry one down the street with you on the way to church every Sunday. It's not even open to interpretation!
