Jesus Christ, this has to be the worst original series that Netflix has ever put out (and that's a low fucking bar). Outside of a few absurdly ridiculous lines at the beginning of the first episode, I even had a hard time enjoying it in the "so bad, it's good" type of way, like with "Another Life".

Got two in and I don't think I can go any farther without hating myself and everybody around me for it.

The Other side of the Netflix spectrum. Actually a really solid show. Apparently this is technically the 3rd season, with the previous two shown on the BBC Network years ago. I haven't seen them, and it's not necessary to, to get the gist of this one. Looks a bit like a Brit version of "The Wire", but without much of the police angle.

I think thats the show that was gonna get canceled but Drake pulled some strings and had it brought it back for the third season.

Some stuff I have watched on Netflix:
Anne with an E Canadian series based on the classic book 'Anne of Green Gables'. Since this story has been done a dozen times, the writers, producers and female director did this version more grim, more realistic and extremely WOKE. Yup it has a lot of preachy feminist dialogue and situations plus inserted diversity, inclusive identity politics that were never in the book (like LGBTQ characters, racial themes and characters, etc). While all this would have spelled disaster for any other production, the fact that the series was so well done and acted it really didn't made a dent in the basic story...that is unless you are a Green Gables groupie and had a meltdown at all the heresy done with this tale. The main young actress who plays Anne, Amybeth McNulty, is a force of nature, a Meryl Streep in the making that charms you from the start and embodies the character like no other actress has done before (and Megan Follows was pretty great in the 80's version). My family watched the whole three seasons in a binge marathon and truly enjoyed it. My biggest beef: since apparently the producers knew the series was being cancelled, the last three episodes of season 3 were rushed to its inevitable conclusion and it sort of felt like Game of Thrones final season all over again. Still it was good, but could had been much better if the story had a full additional season to flesh out all the drama tossed in the last 3 episodes. 8/10

    You
Some radio commentators were recommending this series like a year ago, so we finally gave it a try last week. Binge watched the whole first season and it was pretty good. This is the story of a bookstore manager who is also a stalker that gets obsessed with a pretty wannabe writer. Disturbing at times, but also fun. 7/10

    Messiah
Started watching this with extreme low expectations and now we are hooked. Better than what the trailer makes you think. 7/10

    Outlander
Okay, yes, this is a chick series, but its basic plot (a modern British woman is somehow transported back in time to the 16 century Scotland amid armed revolution) is engaging, the cinematography is just beautiful and the action scenes are well done. Watched the first season and truly enjoyed it. Started watching season 2, but got sidetracked with other things, but eventually will continue watching. 6.5/10

Loved Cobra Kai’s first two seasons and looking forward to the third. Ah’m pleased Netflix are taking it on - YouTube did a bonny job kicking it aff but noo’s the time get a wider audience.

I watched the first episode and found it 'meh'. Probably will get better, but I have no further interest at this time.

Oh, I didn't knew Netflix won the bid against HULU and swept its leg. If so, that is great news! I read somewhere that the hardest negotiations between SONY (the show producers) and Youtube was concerning the rights of Seasons 1 & 2: Sony wants to own those two seasons to sell them to the next platform as a package with the third season; Youtube KNOWS this was its biggest platform winner and wants to retain them or resell them to Sony/Netflix at a higher price.

Do you know what was the outcome?

I haven't seen the particulars mentioned but Cobra Kai seasons 1 and 2 will be on Netflix prior to the launch of season 3. Apparently the show tried to move before season 2 but no deal was struck.

I actually restarted watching Atlanta season 1 before I start season 2&3 in order to refresh my mind and because I thought it was so entertaining.

I did start watching Space Force but I quit after 3 episodes as I agree it was pretty meh and not a fraction as clever as The Office was.

Translation: I know this is a faggoty TV show for fans of ´The Karate Kid´ (e.g. Joe King who has an endless hard-on for gayboys that play ´The Flash´), but is it worth watching, ffs?

I saw it too. Pretty good I thought. The scene when they were in the plane was cool.

2nd and 3rd movies aren’t as good as the original yet I’d watch both back to back before I’d ever rewatch that abominable Jaden Smith remake.

They have mentioned things from all of the movies and I think they may bring back characters from 2 and 3. The Hillary Swank movie is canon also according to the writers.

Hillary Swank definitely needs to have a cameo here. She isn't very busy lately so it can be done. I read somewhere that for season 3 they are bringing the villain from Part 3 to further terrorize Daniel LaRusso...the stuff of Daniel San's nightmares!

    Upgrade was pretty good.

The actor is the writer of the "Saw" movie. I think he wrote Upgrade too.

The writers said that Daniel and Swank's character met at Mr. Miyagi's funeral. I did see a recent twitter post by a former cast member of the original (very small on screen role) training with a cast member of Karate Kid 3 (huge role). It could be for a totally different project but it's too enticing not to think of them returning to the Karate Kid franchise.
