Sorry, I guess bitching was the wrong word. I don't mean it like that. I welcome all criticism of the show. That's how you improve.
I know what you meant - and you're right; it must be terribly frustrating when every thread about the show devolves into a spat and more of the same garbage that sometimes mars other threads. I don't apologize for what I said, but I do apologize for contributing to that. The show is great and improving...and you could tell the effort that went into this last one and the preparation. Well done. And you guys are really gelling together. Peace.
Don't let it get you down you're an EXCELLENT host and very necessary for the show. You did a great job last week....very impressive.:bears:
steve dave is the only reason I'm even listening to the show. Without him, FightBeat is dead. I think everybody on here needs to pause and reflect on just how important steve dave is to this great website.
There are some jealous folks out there yes, Sly. It is not going to get them anywhere or do them any good and they really need to accept it and deal with it, none of us are going anywhere and the show is going to continue to improve and our ratings are going to continue to climb, bottom line. They can be as jealous as they want, but we are going to keep on keeping on and this show is going to be the number one radio show in boxing in the near future.
Hanzy knows the score. There are always going to be some envious characters that live vicariously through the deeds of others that actually have a voice in the Sweet Science. These parasitical individuals try to mess things up for everybody here on fightbeat, but it won't work here, no way and no how.
It's technically not a radio show as there is no radio frequency used in transmission. In reality it's a few gentlemen, one of them drunk, on a conference call, recorded and uploaded to a website. How about calling it "Fightbeat Conference Call with One Drunk Guy and Some Other Cats Uploaded to a Website Show"? Much more accurate.
Why am I brought up here Karl? Rick Reeno and I have every intention to have a show in the future but I have a higher task than boxing at the moment, it is called my family and I am working 90 hour weeks right now. A smile on my wife and daughters face is much more important than any sport. Like I said, it will happen but my priorities come first and Rick understands where I am coming from. I the meantime I think you guys are getting better and I wish you much luck in your future.
