Wilson is 10-0 against super bowl winning QBs
    He's 6-1 in playoff games

None of those guys made anywhere near as many big plays as Wilson

But according to your definition, Aikman was a game manager. He was never close to the best QB of his day. In fact, during Aikman's entire career, Dallas was only in the top 5 ranked passing offenses once. Most years they weren't even in the top 10. But their running game was in the top 5 four times. Aikman had one of the best running backs in NFL history. He had a Hall of Fame receiver in Irvin. He had a great TE, a great fullback, an outstanding offensive line, he had all the tools around him. Aikman was never the main reason Dallas had all of their success. He wasn't even near the top of their list.

    He was a game manager.

So far all the betting sites and books seemed split, some have the Pats favored by 1, some have Seattle favored by 1, others have it as a Pick'em.

Doesn't Alter REED's Thoughts on Wilson Though...

Of course it doesn't. Your 'hate Wilson at all costs' mentality is extremely obvious.

When it matters? It matters in the first 3 quarters also. Wilson threw 4 picks during that stretch and forced his team into a situation where they needed an onside kick gaffe to have a chance.

When I look at the game in total, I can clearly say Wilson did far more to lose the game than he did to win it.

I give Wilson a ton of credit for making plays at the end of the game but that doesn't erase the 55 previous minutes of utter and absolute futility.

Nobody mentions the horrendous weather and the fact both QB's, including the one there's no doubt is elite, had pretty subpar games. Two of Wilson's 4 INT's bounced right off of Jermaine Kearse's mitts.

.......and nobody has EVER claimed Russell Wilson is the Michael Jordan of the Seahawks.

........and why do I have the feeling, if that was Mike Vick out there, putting up the exact same numbers in the exact same situations, making the exact same plays..........REED would be anointing him for the Hall of Fame right now. Words and phrases like "athletic" and "electric", and "game changer", and "carried them on his back" would be used ad infinitum.

Same reason he hates Derek Jeter. Rhymes with an Italian Ice Cream.

REED livin' in the past. It's a new day out there, and he refuses to conform to the modern norms of society. Hines Ward, Rod Woodson, Franco Harris...........he hates them all. What's the common theme you ask. They're all Gelato's.

Ah, so another one is buying into the 'Wilson isn't black enough' mantra.

win or lose the super bowl it will be interesting to see what Seattle does with Wilson's contract. I fully expect it to be a huge number, but what I'll pay attention to is the size of the guarantee. Considering how little he's been paid in respect to his value to the team ($660,000 this season).

Flacco, Romo and Cutler have gurantee's at $55 million.

Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan have a $63 million guarantees.

Wilson could be in line for $70 million.

Or they will cut his caramel ass and bring in any one of a dozen totally average QBs and get the same results:hammert:

Not only did Kearse contribute to 2 of the INTs but the play calling was questionable with the lack of read options until the eND. Green gay has always struggled to defend that play

His Record is Such BECAUSE of his Defense...

Sure, Wilson Makes Plays but he's NEVER Asked to Put Up Even 20-25pts a Game, for Seattle to Win...Instead, the DEFENSE is Holding Opponents in the Teens Typically &/or Single Digit Halfs, Like Yesterday.

Everybody wants to talk about Russell but Aaron Rodgers only has a paltry two wins after the 2010-11 Super Bowl, and one of those wins was against Joe Webb. He's also 0-4 in the postseason against the NFC West

With all my heart REED. As a matter of fact, me and TFK are sipping margaritas and reciting select passages of Quentin Tarantino dialogue in between our visits to The Alamo & re-enacting the Civil War, Battle of Chickamauga, while "Do The Right Thing" plays on a constant loop in the background........for we are..........complicated men....... who love the mixing of races, as long as they are for "athletic" pursuits that we have a vested stake in (for example: a subscription to DirectTV's NFL On Demand Network).

Well, he and Luck are clearly the best QB's to come out of the draft in the past few years.

You gotta give Wilson credit for the competitive toughness it requires to remain in the game after the hit he took from that shemale gay clay Matthews. Most QBs would've been knocked out of the game
