bears got roquan smith. barring an injury he pretty much seems like a cant miss player. instant leader for the defense, great tackler, 4.5 speed. i am seeing universal praise for the selection from media and fans, and division opponents expressing fear.

I feel like the Giants kind of muffed on the Saquon Barkley pick.

I mean, I'm glad they got him, and he has a great chance of being a superstar, but they could have capitalized on that draft slot better.

Jets were desperate for Darnold. Giants could have drafted him, flipped him to the Jets for more assets, taken Barkley at 3 and saved a few bucks in the draft slotting in the process.

Still think Giants should have let Manning go after last year, and saved themselves a ton of money against the cap this year. As it is, they are wedged hard up against that cap right now.

What do you guys think of Baker Mayfield going #1? He really moved up the draft boards in the last month after initially being projected as a top of the 1st round type of guy. Not a prototypical built QB. Is he the next Johnny Manziel or the next Drew Brees?

Does he suffer the Browns curse?

i liked darnold the best of the QBs. not sure how mayfield will do. was hoping the bears would get a bigtime edge rusher but it didnt break that way. instead they may have got 3 immediate starters. certainly 2

REED Thinks the Browns Went too High on Mayfield...Should Have Taken Barkley 1st. There’s a Damn Good Chance Mayfield Would’ve STILL Been Available with the 4th Pick...

Patriots were also ready to trade a bunch of assets to the Giants for Mayfield, if he was still in play and Barkley was off the table for the Giants.

Barkley taken #1 overall is a steep pay slot for a Running Back in the NFL, but I guess that would have been evened out by underpaying whatever QB they took at #4.

Anyways, it's still the Browns, so this is all likely to blow up in their faces at some point or another.

Oaklands been bumbling around for years making bad trades and signings.

They seem to overpay for 1 or 2 Giants rejects every year for as far back as I can remember. Guys who always end up being way worse for the Raiders, then they ever were for the Giants.

Bailey's % has Dipped Each of the Last 3 Seasons and the Boy's THINK They're Staying AHEAD of the Game...

From 94% to 84%, to 75% Last Season...Bailey Had a Bad 2-Day Stretch in Training Camp, But Considering Camp is Like a Fucking MONTH Loooooooooooooooooooong, a Team Shouldn't Panic Over That Shit...Not w/a PROVEN Vet like Bailey...

Nonetheless, They're Rolling the Dice on Brett Maher, Who Made a 57yd FG in Pre-Season but has NEVER Kicked in a Real NFL Game...

Bailey Stood to Make $3.4mil This Season; Maher's Making $480k...THAT's Why the Move was Made...

And the trend of USC QB's sucking too much ass continues, Darnold's first throw is a pick six

Browns finally release Josh Gordon. Has there ever been a more frustrating, mercurial player in NFL history?

    I'm sure there's a few candidates.

He hasn't done shit in literally 5 years in the league, and he's still owned by over 98% of fantasy leagues at NFL.com. People have been in love with his "potential" forever. I've had him on my teams, for literally no payoff a few times myself.
