I’m still concerned about his playcalling in large part due to the epic Super Bowl meltdown. Dan Quinn should have overruled him.

I’ve read many different arguments about the NE-SEA Super Bowl and I definitely understand why Seattle passed the ball. However, I don’t think you can defend Atlanta passing the ball after the Julio Jones catch. All the shit that goes to Bevell/Carroll should instead go to Shanahan/Quinn.

Brees looks utterly mediocre in the dome, combine that with his age, and imagine how he would look in the frozen tundra next week

Literally, Brees LOST the Game for New Orleans Today...Clearly...

Even in the Midst of an Epic Drive by Tayson Hill, Payton Goes Back to Brees and He IMMEDIATELY Fumbles the Rock Away...

new orleans continuously gets fucked by the officiating, ever since the bountygate shit and the players fines got recinded in court.

rudolph clearly pushed off on the TD to win it.

    Nah...

Standard 50/50 Play in Today's NFL, and the DB NEVER Even Looked Back for the Ball...Yes, Rudolph Pushed Off, But the DB Grabbed Rudolph's Arms Also...They Were MUTUALLY Fighting for Position and Rudolph Got the BETTER of the Situation...

And to Be Clear, REED BET on the Saints Today...

Drew Brees HURT the Saints Today, Not the Refs...

He Couldn't Have Done Any Worse, That's for Sure...

This Loss HURTS Brees' Legacy a Bit, in REED's Opinion...Sure, the STATS Are There, but There's Never Been a MORE Stat Oriented Era of QB'ing...

I don't know. I saw Brees go like 29 for 30 just a few weeks ago, so I have a hard time believing he's washed up.

Give the Vikings defense some credit. Just like Tom Brady throughout his career, if you can take away his quick release by getting pressure up the middle and successfully playing press on his receivers and disrupt their patterns, he starts to look a lot more human.

He's not Brett Favre or Cam Newton, so he's not going to be running around the pocket and slinging the ball downfield to try and make something out of nothing on broken plays. He relies almost entirely on timing, and throwing catchable balls for his receivers.

Great QB's Will ALWAYS Be Able to Throw the Football...Roger Staubach's Damn Near 80 and Still Slings It Pretty Good, Considering...Put Brees Behind an Impenetrable Wall and He'd Complete 70% of His Passes til His Late 50's-60's:D...

agREED, Brees Has Never Been Brett Favre, Cam Newton, Steve Young or Lamar Jackson in Terms of Sandlot Football, But He's Been Able to Evade a Basic Pass Rush, @ Least...He's Always Been More Mobile than Brady for Sure, But it Didn't Look Like it Yesterday...

Some of Those Sacks were a Matter of Him Simply Holding Onto the Ball Tooooooooo Loooooooong...And the Fumble @ the End is Concerning...Has his Grip NOT Been Restored Since Injuring the Hand and if Not, WHY Was He Out There???...

REED Ain't Saying Put Brees Out to Pasture, But Knowing the Saints Won't Be Able to Match Any Offer Bridgewater Gets, it's Time to THOROUGHLY Investigate Taysom Hill's FULL QB'ing Potential...Especially w/Jackson Bringing the Scrambling, Playmaking, Read Optioning SEXY Back...

Brees body definitely looks like it's starting to break down. Best case scenario for the Saints is probably to have Brees retire and let them regroup and try to bring back Bridgewater some how. I think they get hit with a huge cap hit on Brees contract though, whether he stays or goes, because of past accounting shenanigans on the part of the Saints.

Certainly Not "WOW'ed" By McCarthy, But he's an Upgrade to Garrett for Sure...

"America's Team", YOUR Dallas Cowboys, Would've MADE the Playoffs w/McCarthy...2-3 MORE Wins @ Worst, Which Would've COMFORTABLY Won the NFC Least...

Wilson and Rodgers are x1000 better than Cousins i think in my mind

My God, after that 1st TD, Cousins put a clinic in checkdowns. Easy work for the 49ers

I'd make the 40 hynas a favorite over either green gay or seattle, with the return of tart, Alexander and especially Ford off the edge

In other new the ravens got a game on their hands. Bigtime catch by smith
