This fight will be shown live in the US on Showtime. Peter hopes to use this fight as a showcase for his claim that he is the best heavyweight boxer in the world. McCline, a late replacement for regular WBC champ Oleg Maskaev, who pulled out claiming a back injury, hopes to derail these plans and pull an upset. At the prefight news conference at the Garden Wednesday, we spoke with both principals, Samuel Peter and Jameel McCline.
