Boxrec has donaire listed at 5-5 1/2 and Manny at 5-6. The same as bobby Pac. There is a picture of bob and donaire, which seems to confirm those numbers.

There are few guarantees in life, or on Fightbeat.

Hanz WILL start cock threads on a regular basis...

90% of Panchy's posts will be obnoxiously stupid...

And at least once a month, a heated height debate will break out.

The Pacs both have big heads, which make them look shorter. Donaire has a small head which gives him the proportions of a taller dude.

What you think steve_dave, whooz tallest?

Yeah, I'd say the size difference is pretty significant.

Some writers have been pushing hard for Donaire/Mares.... I'd way rather see this.

seems like a waste of energy to lobby for that fight. if TR and GBP can't come together to make Pac/PBF, why in the hell would they do so to make Donaire/Mares? Not going to happen.

me too, but arum is doing donaire a huge disservice if he forces him to take this fight instead of the easier fight with mares for 2 or 3 times as much money.

Well there should be pressure from media to break the TR/GBP bullshit. But the stories I'm reading all ignore the way more delicious Donaire/Rigondeaux bout.

Donaire/Mares might be the better action fight... but I don't care nearly as much.

It would be exciting while it lasted though. I get the desire for Donaire/Mares. But Donaire/Rigo might be the best matchup in boxing right now.

Steve Kim doing his best to rally the troops against Donaire/Rigo. Annoying.

its pretty odd. the guy used to prefer good match ups but now he's all caught up in the business of boxing. been hanging out with merchant too much. whats really amusing is that donaire isnt even a draw himself, nor is mares for that matter. if rigondeaux fought for golden boy in miami his first ten fights and they gave away thousands of tickets to american airlines arena he'd have an almost similar fan base as mares does in california.

And you just know, no matter what happens, everything he writes about Donaire/Rigo will be slanted towards the negative.

nonito will destroy this guy. given his recent competition and his talent i would say he is the best fighter p4p right now. he is more active than floyd, more complete than ward, martinez, jmm and manny. i just dont see how its a competitive fight at all.

Rigondeaux may far well be superior to Mares, but he has done nothing in his pro career to suggest that he is. Mares is far far more deserving of a shot at Donaire. Steve Kim is 100% right in this case, and TopRank has no businees refusing the 3 millions offer for GBP is it's legit
