I never said I was a fan. seriously dude you need to learn how to read. I mention Mijares among others at 115 for being better options than anybody at 112. I do think Mijares is a good boxer and would be a better challenge than Vic who I always stated was overrated aside from having power. Vic lost the same way Arce lost - against a taller guy with speed and skill. I would also like to see Mijares against a better boxer the same way I wannna see Nonito fight a good boxer. But it could be Castillo or Montiel both who are true 115 fighters and offer more than just power.
Castillo is fighting as a batamweight now, I'm not sure he can get back down to 115, and if he did would he be weight drained? Montiel should give Gorres a rematch if he's not a chicken shit. He barely eeked out a "split decision" (aka robbery). That fight was fishy as fuck. Viruet should NEVER ref a championship fight again. Nonito and Mijares should fight and it makes for a good byline, the conquerors of two loud mouth midgets.
:: Damn GOOD Analogy... REED Recalls that Fight VIVIDLY... Though it WAS After the Bell, Starling was Knocked SILLY by that Cat to the Point that he was ADAMANT N his Post Fight Interview about NOT Being DROPPED OR KO'ed @ All,even though BOTH CLEARLY Transpired:: :: ... "But I DIDN'T Get Knocked Out. I Didn't even Get Dropped"- Marlon Starling...The Post Fight Interviewer (Merchant???:dunno: ) was THOROUGHLY Confused:: As Sooon as Darchinyan's Interview was Over,Marlon Starling was THE FIRST Thought that Popped N 2 REED's Head... Damn GOOD Call... REED:bears:
Yeah, Starling was the first thing that went through my mind to. To be fair to Marlon, he was tagged well after the bell, broke his leg on the way down and was probably concussed when Merchant was interviewing him. Darchinyan just seems like a dickhead.
